This is fairly maliceful. Accusing someone of domestic terrorism in most instances would be a nightmare for the average joe.
Even for groups or companies with “good” legal representation you’re talking hundreds of thousands in legal expenses at the least, if not millions should the government believe it may be remotely true.
At the very least, the civil liability of damaged reputation is easier to prove with polling and loss of revenue statistics from loss of advertisers and membership loss.
