What are your symptoms?
Schizophrenia
>What are your symptoms?
The most common ones are:
Auditory Hallucinations
Paranoia/Anxiety attacks
Trouble organizing my thoughts
Visual hallucinations
There's a few more, but my brain is dead.
>Schizophrenia
You must be a genius.
When you are at the mall and some random wageslave says something at the microphone do you start screaming, " THE VOICES AGAIN" "OMFG" and just roll on the floor?
>When you are at the mal
>Implying I go to the mall
>Implying I go anywhere
Do you have night terrors
>Do you have night terrors
I do occasionally. They've become much less frequent, though.
I used to have them extremely often in my late teens/early 20's.
How can I make a boy return my feelings?
How often do you get out? Are you living a semi normal life?
>How can I make a boy return my feelings?
>make
Well, you can't really make them, per se. Unless you want to manipulate them. Which is a skill that's difficult to convey over the internet.
You could spend more time with them. Tell them you like them?
>How often do you get out?
Maybe like... Twice a month.
>Are you living a semi normal life?
what is a "normal life"? It's normal to me.
Whats up with you and shinobu? You better stay back!
>Unless you want to manipulate them. Which is a skill that's difficult to convey over the internet.
Huh, now that's odd. I don't remember writing that..
Yes, I’m almost a professional scooter rider and a professional fingerboarder so that’s why I’m also occasionally here.
>Whats up with you and shinobu?
She's mai waifu.
>You better stay back!
YOU better stay back. I'll melt your eyeballs out of your skull.
If you get a chance look up Roky Erickson. He had a few things he did that I found interesting and helpful. Like listening to the radio/TV/static at the same time. Multiple tvs radio. Drowned out all the bullshit.
I always doubt these threads. As there are so many mental illness AMA. But find a hobby/purpose, idle hands bro. Easy on the drugs they fuel it. Or don't and take some shrooms and try and rewire yourself.
So, yeah.
What's your favorite color?
Which is your end goal?
What does it feel like being me?
>If you get a chance look up Roky Erickson.
What exactly am I supposed to be looking for?
>Drowned out all the bullshit.
I usually just put on a pair of headphones. Does the trick. Music does wonders.
>I always doubt these threads.
It's good that you doubt them. I'd doubt them if I were you, it's Sup Forums, after all.
>But find a hobby/purpose, idle hands bro.
It's hard to find something that's remotely interesting. I've almost given up on that.
>Easy on the drugs they fuel it.
You're telling me. But, they're just so much fun..
>What's your favorite color?
Green
Isn't there something with schizophrenia that you move your eyes back and forth or something like that?
What are you talking about? I'm not OP but I'm also suffer from the condition.
cock
>What are your symptoms?
Another one just popped into my head.
Catatonia.
>Which is your end goal?
To live forever. Specifically, placing my brain in a "computer" and launching it into space.
Will it happen?
Probably not. But that would be pure bliss.
>What does it feel like being me?
It feels.. Comfortable, yet... Odd. Like you're out of place. You're looking for something.... or someone? You don't know where to look. Have you tried not looking? Sometimes that'll get you the answer you're looking for.
>Isn't there something with schizophrenia that you move your eyes back and forth or something like that?
Never heard of that.
I had to look it up because I remember reading an article on cracked a long time ago and it had to do with looking back and forth constantly. I'm guessing that's some sort of hogwash.
psychcentral.com
There's this though.
Do you like fighting games, user?
I'll give it a read, I never heard of this but just speaking for myself I have never experienced what you described.
>Do you like fighting games, user?
I do. One of the first games I ever played was Mortal Kombat. Back on the N64 I think. Or maybe it was a SNES.
I occasionally play things like Skull Girls, DOA, MKX.
do you have a sex doll
Balls.
>older than 25
>still into anime
Am I the only person in the world who doesn't get anime?
no user, he's fucking retarded, they all are.
>cock
>Balls.
Why are you so lewd?
>do you have a sex doll
Nope.
That picture seems familiar though.
>Am I the only person in the world who doesn't get anime?
Yep. Out of the 700 people on the planet, you're the only one who doesn't get it.
I don't even watch that much anime anymore.
oP is bullshitting. I have schizophrenia this person is just a antisocial weaboo. Go back to /r9k/
>is just a antisocial weaboo
>Claims to have Schizophrenia
>Uses antisocial incorrectly
Yep, I'm the one who's bullshitting.
blimpo
>sarcastic response
Okay, okay.
Specifically within the group of people who are part of my generation -- people around 18 years-old -- who live in the USA, grew up in a partly urbanized area, and have had decent accessibility to the internet, AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO DOESN'T GET ANIME?
>AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO DOESN'T GET ANIME?
>Roughly 30 million 18~24-year-olds in the Us
Yep, you're the only one.
Whats the most common hallucination you have?
>Whats the most common hallucination you have?
Probably voices/static/ringing.
Visuals would be ambient things, like seeing a sign as a person. Or a bush as a dog, etc.
Bump with my dogger
>this. is a glitch, or what?
>this. is a glitch, or what?
Probably a scam.
How do I get a schizophrenic gf?
Where do I find the 5% of that particular demographic which are not completely enamored by girly bullshit, shit "plots", terrible characters, and dweeby in-joke self-deprecation? The ghettos? Saudi Arabia?
>How do I get a schizophrenic gf?
Seeing as most schizophrenic people avoid human contact, it's a bit hard.
I'm sure you could find a qt Schizo here on Sup Forums. I've met a few myself.
>Where do I find the 5% of that particular demographic
Have you tried, I don't know, literally anywhere?
Anime isn't that popular you sperg.
Can you explain any things you have seen/experienced?
can you reply with your favourite meme?
>Can you explain any things you have seen/experienced?
I assume you're referring to hallucinations, or delusions?
I'll try to recount.
There was a time I was sitting on my porch with a cousin of mine. We were just chatting and smoking a joint, and talking nonsense. Suddenly I out of the corner of my eye I noticed the light looked all weird. So I looked over there, and where the streetlight used to be, was just this empty blackness. I told my cousin about it, but he didn't seem to hear me. So I walked over to it and just kind of looked at it for a few minutes. Then I decided to stick my arm in it. As soon as I touched it my vision went... spinny? I don't know how to describe it.
Then I was back on the porch with my cousin.
How's that?
>can you reply with your favourite meme?
(you)
>Have I tried anywhere
Huh. Maybe it's a consequence of my homosexuality that any attempt just results in running into only complete faggots.
Thanks for the revelation, sarcastic voice-hearer. New question: from where do I get an overly masculine 'Merican boyfriend who gets things done in life, disinterested in consumptive anime culture?
hi user, how would you best describe what consciousness is, thanks.
try someplace other than an anime imageboard you stupid faggot.
>Maybe it's a consequence of my homosexuality
Probably.
I have the same problem. I always run into crazy people. Doesn't matter where I go. I'm like a magnet.
>from where do I get an overly masculine 'Merican boyfriend who gets things done in life, disinterested in consumptive anime culture?
No idea. Have you tried a gay bar? Or a place where people hang out? Have you tried going outside? Or... Tinder? Or whatever the gay equivalent of that is.
I can't really help you with this one, user.
how often do you masturbate?
how good does it feel when you cum.
Modern-day hookup culture isn't my thing.
Drinking is for unabashed recklessness, not cocktail-party socialization for a one-night-stand.
People my age with internet connection, seem to only hang out in virtual spaces, and consequently hardly go outside. You could say Sup Forums is a place where people 'hang out'. Been there, done that; I want the real thing.
I do have to try Grindr, though.
>hi user, how would you best describe what consciousness is, thanks.
That's an insanely hard question to answer.
>how often do you masturbate?
I don't have a set amount. Sometimes I don't for weeks. Sometimes I do 5+ times a day.
>how good does it feel when you cum.
I dunno. Good?
>Modern-day hookup culture isn't my thing.
You don't have to go to a bar. Just go to where people are.
>seem to only hang out in virtual spaces, and consequently hardly go outside.
Just because those are the people you meet doesn't mean that's the majority of people.
What if you're uploaded to a computer but your schizophrenia is uploaded with it?
>Meet my waifu Komi-san
>how would you best describe what consciousness is
Can you reword that question? The current wording makes it very hard to focus on.
>What if you're uploaded to a computer but your schizophrenia is uploaded with it?
You misunderstand. I do not wish to be uploaded into a computer.
I want my brain, and thus consciousness to be integrated into a computer.
>but your schizophrenia is uploaded with it?
That would be perfectly fine. It's like asking "What if you went to heaven, but you lost all your ailments"
>Meet my waifu Komi-san
She seems very friendly.
>SchizoNobu
Oh shit, this has been some time, Nobu!
Do you remember the Noire poster from last August?
It's a shame that I lost your kik and couldn't contact you anymore ;-;
>Oh shit, this has been some time, Nobu!
It's been quite some time.
>Do you remember the Noire poster from last August?
Of course, I do.
>It's a shame that I lost your kik and couldn't contact you anymore ;-;
You can add me on Discord: Laxeris#4748
How have you been?
Ah, gotcha. I've seen you around before but haven't interacted, nice to finally talk to you pal.
And yea she is pretty friendly
>nice to finally talk to you pal.
Glad you decided to talk.
>And yea she is pretty friendly
Why is she averse to smiling?
is it fun? have you ever enjoyed it?
I have the exact opposite thing were I dont hallucinate at all and it sucks balls
jill?
>is it fun?
Not generally.
>have you ever enjoyed it?
There have been times, I'm sure.
>I have the exact opposite thing were I dont hallucinate at all and it sucks balls
Hallucinations aren't very fun.
Do you think Schizophrenia can help with creative endeavours? Assuming you write/paint/draw/whatever.
Also nice waifu.
Oh, alright. I'll do so soonish.
I had my up and downs, can't say things are going great, but surely better than last year.
How about you?
Blep?
>Do you think Schizophrenia can help with creative endeavours?
I do, very much so.
We have the ability to tap into an area that most people cannot and pull the unimaginable into vision. Assuming one has the ability to articulate through whatever their preferred medium is.
>Also nice waifu.
Thanks, user.
Who's dat grill? I can't quite place her.
what is this pic from? i have seen all of monogatari and dont remember this.
when are you making threads again
>Hallucinations aren't very fun.
not with that attitude
I go out of my way to hallucinate but I never end up satisfied
most of the times the visuals are too mild or I dont get any at all, maybe some distortion or slight breaating but nothing else
arent you glad that you have access to experience no one else has? never? schizophrenia feels like haaving a superpower to me, if I could Id be a schizo for a week to know what it feels like
>I had my up and downs
That's about how life goes, innit?
>but surely better than last year.
That's all we can really ask for, a better day than yesterday, right?
>How about you?
Been a bit shitty the past while. I've been in hiding for a few months. It's soon to get worse too. As it always does.
>what is this pic from?
I think it's fanart, user.
>arent you glad that you have access to experience no one else has?
Glad? No. I am indifferent toward it. It's just a fact of life.
>not with that attitude
Imagine a bad trip on acid. Not always that intense, but that's a good way of thinking about how it goes most of the time.
>schizophrenia feels like haaving a superpower to me
The negatives far outweigh the positives. Sure, I can see things no one else can. I can read a person like a book, see their intentions, their hopes, dreams, and desires. I know what to say to tear someone down just after meeting them. But, what good does it do to have that knowledge? Not much.
What anime is this from?
>What anime is this from?
Bakemonogatari
Do you not know how to use google?
>Who's dat grill? I can't quite place her.
Misaka Mikoto, user.
If you don't mind me asking, what's your preferred medium? Would be very interested in seeing it if that's okay with you.
>If you don't mind me asking, what's your preferred medium?
My preferred medium is music. But, I lack the physical ability to compose. Sadly, none of the music I've ever made has ever left my head.
>Would be very interested in seeing it if that's okay with you.
I have some doodles I did a while back saved somewhere, if I can find them I'll post them for you.
Not me, that's another Jill, which is why I change my filenames to Jules.
Although as far as I know he planned to start again after spring begins.
It is, and everyone has its own way to deal with it.
I think so, you can't really get perfection anywhere you go, so yeah, that's the best we can ask for in the end.
Noticed, hence you disappeared out of nowhere, I hope it won't crumble down though, not THAT worse at least.
>Would be very interested in seeing it if that's okay with you.
do you have any weird fetishes?
>you can't really get perfection anywhere you go,
Perfection is possible to achieve. But achieving it often makes us feel worse.
>I hope it won't crumble down though, not THAT worse at least.
It shouldn't get that bad. I'll probably just stay in hiding for a while and pop back in every now and then. Until it passes over, as usual.
>do you have any weird fetishes?
Weird by whose standards?
oh
Think I got the meaning there, ad yeah, I can feel that.
I see. You're getting psychosis more often now?
And almost forgot, I'll add you on discord.
>
Great stuff, you can really see the unimaginable into vision, as you put it. What kind of music do you like, user? Anything you like more, or at least as much as the music that doesn't leave your head?
Why not buy (or by other means aquire) a music program. You could start by fiddeling around and then maybe go on to make some of the melodies in your head. Also if you do this could you share that music through soundcloud or spotify. Im really curious what your mind usualy composes. For me its often pretty hypnotic stuff but sometimes its more electronic
>Weird by whose standards
by normies
>I see. You're getting psychosis more often now?
Yeah, kind of. But not really? It's just the time of year when I feel.. bad. Everything is so empty and dull.
>Great stuff
Glad you enjoyed it.
>What kind of music do you like, user?

Yes, I often create stories. Elaborate stories too. I've probably written 2 or 3 full books in my head.
>Why not buy (or by other means aquire) a music program.
I have FlStupido 11. Fiddling with it is pretty counter-intuitive, and I can't find any guides that tell me what I want to know.
>Im really curious what your mind usualy composes.
It's mostly electronic, melodic stuff. >by normies
Then, aren't all fetishes weird?
make use of it
I have ADD and I will never finish college but I am more likely to be famous and rich than a healthy person
currently im running a shitty yt channel, I get payed for being retarded.
how much?
not much, but I went from working 40 hs a week to 25 hs a week while making more money. if it keeps growing like it has been for the last couple months then it wont be long until I stop working all together
schizophrenia is totally different but people love different, Im 100% sure there's a way for you to make use of it
Would've preferred "333" trips.
Anyway, I kind o rn get your point and not at the same time, it's strange, yeah.
Maybe a change of pace could bring new things and make the general painting a bit better..?
I don't really know, but anything could be a possibility.
Kind of get*
What do the auditory hallucinations tell you to do?
ive been doing that exact same thing on the margin of my papers for years
I like to make really detailed tribal-like drawings since they can look amazing and only require patiance but they take too long
>make use of it
Easier said than done.
>currently im running a shitty yt channel
Link your channel.
>Would've preferred "333" trips.
Wouldn't we all.
>Maybe a change of pace could bring new things and make the general painting a bit better..?
Unfortunately change never helps it. It'll just go away eventually.
>What do the auditory hallucinations tell you to do?
They don't generally tell me to do things. They're just kind of there.
>ive been doing that exact same thing on the margin of my papers for years
Are you an INTP?
They seem to be common among INTP's.
Cool taste, user. Only 4 songs in but liking everything so far very much.
>I can post more if you're interested.
Please do. Not sure if I'll get to listen to everything before thread 404's though, so will save the links.
>Yes, I often create stories.
I'm assuming you save/have a registry or something? Would you mind sharing, if that's the case?
>This might be for you
I'll give it a look.

I don't. I often make the stories over the course of a few days, and wind up forgetting them pretty much immediately, as I don't write anything down.
I need to get some sleep though. I'll catch everyone later.
Anyone is welcome to add me on Discord, if they want: Laxeris#4748
Ivr never told this to anyone but I used to get auditory hallucinations as a kid, I can recount this one time where I thought my aunt said "hi" to me, but she was no where around, actually she lived up in Washington, and she had died 6 years ago at that point. I also thought that I heard people saying things to me that were incomprehensible and usually ended up confusing the person I thought said it to me.
