You must not be familiar with the criminal justice system, from the streets to the prisons, minorities are given a pass at every turn, because if we strictly enforced the laws and prison sentences the prisons would be OVERFLOWING with shitskins. That's no substitute for an individual evaluation of the person in question, and in that regard, IQ is a reliable predictor of future criminality, so it makes sense that a Stanford scholar would not be sentenced to incarceration. There are always other factors at play, sometimes we know them, other times we may not. The degree to which these factors play a role is always hard to tell.
Will racism play a role? Of course. Again, to the degree it does is impossible to determine. There will be racist police officers, and racist judges - leaning both ways.
Accusing millions of people of 'invisible subconscious' racism is a pretty big leap of faith.
The harder you look for something, the more you start finding it. If you go looking for 'raycism' you'll start finding it everywhere; however not because it exists everywhere, just because of ones own conformation bias.
