Redpill me on chinks cartoons?

Redpill me on chinks cartoons?
Why anime is so popular here?
>inb4: anime board, get out now, fucking 'normie'.

The question is more like,
why don't you like anime?

It's just animation.
There's a million fucking genres.

Personally, I don't care much about it. Neither like or hate.
I know, that anime is 'Japanese animation', but majority (as I can see) watch it only for 2D waifus and other pervert stuff.

Escapism mostly, as I see it. Their lives are so fucked up so they gravitate to the "purity" and "innocence" of animu.

That's just ignorant.
There's an anime for everybody.
Unlike western animation,
anime is actually super diverse.

It appeals to all ages because anime isn't only made for kids.

Because some anime is really well written

>That's just ignorant.
Probably.
>There's an anime for everybody.
This is true, I've couple favourite titles.
>Unlike western animation, anime is actually super diverse.
Because western cartoons are made usually for kids.
>It appeals to all ages because anime isn't only made for kids.
Well, I think it is the reason why people hate it, because they can't imagine cartoons for grown-ups, and this drives them crazy.
How all those perverted scenes are pure? It is like saying, that gay porn is pure.

It is addictive, once you've passed the second series, you can't stop.

If you really don't know a nuke you should be aware that those are all boys in that image

9/10 anime aren't perverse

*anime

One of them is in super-position. Others are true boiz.

6/10 is not perverse.

I think it is popular in japan, because all japs look the same, and not cool for japs eyes, that is why they draw beauties and nudes.

If you're an adult that's into anime in Japan, you're a nerd.

Because nerds don't have chicks?

What?

Because nerds don't have GFs?

My heart...it can't take anymore pain from this anime

Could you name an anime that is well written?

Not trying to be a smartass, but I've never seen an anime that was well written. I'll admit that I've watched very few series, though.

What does that have to do with what I said? Culturally, in Japan, if you're an adult that likes anime you're considered a weirdo. So, it's only popular among children/teens.

Imagine a TV show where you have a guy that beats the fuck out of giant monsters and can kill everyone and cause huge amounts of distruction. Giant monsters, aliens, and even a giant commet threaten earth, but this one guy can stop them all.

Sounds cool, but difficult to present well with live actors and CGI. Easy to do with anime though.

Anime is nice because it can portray things things that are impossible to portray with actors.

ok, never mind, my jokes are horrible.
> in Japan, if you're an adult that likes anime you're considered a weirdo.
Kinda makes sense, because majority is about school/college...

You can make it, and CGI is not as difficult as it sounds, you can tie it to movement of real human (as I know)...

Translations to English are never perfect. Sadly dubs and subs will never have the same experience as watching in Japanese.

An anime like Mushishi which is pretty much just a story translate very well and the writing is always well done

Just think if all the awful CGI you've seen. Without a lot of money the production usually turns out pretty bad.

>Translations to English are never perfect.
Slavic thirdworlder confirms. It is difficult to translate.
There were a south park episode, that was build around a play of words 'an erection', 'a nerection', 'resurrection', that can't be translated in Russian. And entire episode just didn't made any sense. (And it was the last time, when I've watched anything dubbed, since then I watch only subbed).
I am sure that the same thing applies to any language.

And yeah, by watching subbed you are in fact learning language, slowly but firmly.

My instincts tell me all of those are boys.

your instincts are never wrong. But doublecheck

Totally disagree. That's not how the brain works. You might learn one or two words when they're spoken independently, but you'll never be able to pick up on grammar and sentence structure just by reading subs. This is how weebs who know 10 Japanese words end up thinking they speak Japanese.
