I was just thinking, what the hell was the point of having Trevelyan survive his fall only to have the entire fucking skyhook come crashing down upon him? That just seems unnecessary cruel. It was a huge fall, why didn't they just have him die instead of showing him fucking screaming like that?
I was just thinking...

It was worse in the deleted scene where he didnt die immediately and you could see all the gristle and blood pouring out on the rubble for several minutes

What the fuck? Seriously, what is this dude made out of?
Oh god this looks awful now
he didnt fly so good
this editing kek
Because his grand scheme all came crashing down on top of him and he got to witness it first hand. It's like you don't understand movies.
This is some Steven Segal tier editing
Well I guess I sure fit in with the rest of Sup Forums because nobody seems to go looking for symbolism even in the actual deep movies.
Got an honest chuckle out of me.
That fucking plane crash was horribly done even for the time. The radar station's destruction was awful too, but it's completely overshadowed by the plane crash that caused it being so badly done.
it's edited you stupid fuck
You're just mad because your favorite Bond doesn't hold up as well as you thought.
Arecibo's surface would have collapsed like an eggshell under Trevelyan's weight, the thing wasn't built for strength.
And you know where I learned that? WATCHING MOVIES
It's amazing that someone actually had this ready. Gotta make Sean Bean suffer some more.
>I have died quite a few times to be fair. I've seen that reel of clips – it sounds a bit macabre, but I watched that back, and I'd forgotten some of the scenes I'd died in… (I don’t) take it to heart... For some reason, the parts I play, like Boromir or Ned Stark, have a life online long afterwards. I keep seeing, what do you call them – memes? 'One does not simply ask for a drink' instead of 'One does not simply walk into Mordor' – that sort of thing. They'll probably be my unintended legacy.
Bond villains usually get it really bad - its what makes their deaths so satisfying
You're kind of right (Carver had another gruesome death) but they broke that pattern with the Craig movies. They all died pretty normally.
Quantum had that guy with the oil can in the desert. Probably the best implied death in the Craig series
Yeah, I was thinking about that, but in the end that one just supports my point because they didn't actually show anything. The older Bond movies would straight up show the characters dying.
