Pretty cool man. It's nice to hear bands on here instead of just "beats". I like the buildup section near the two minute mark. A little devoid of melody for my taste, though.
>metal that metal people seem to not like It's definitely mixed and mastered pretty nice, and definitely on the more proggy side of things, at least the first cut. Zombie Robot kinda reminds me of Soundgarden to an extent, at least on the riff side of things. Really ambitious, all over the place really. Some of the riffs really hit the spot for me, some of the more jazzy moments too, so I might revisit this. I do suggest people to check this out.
i'd like some constructive feedback on this one, i feel like it needs improvement but i'm not sure where.
this gives me some serious Polvo vibes, especially that build up. Polvo is fucking great, so that's a plus for sure. Just tighten up a little more and this will be amazing.
It's a pretty good beat, but definitely consider a different kick.
This is the first song we recorded, and since then, our music has become a lot more progressive, but this song still stands as one of our favourites! Any opinions and criticism is much appreciated :)

I'm a metal person and I love this, love the the tone of the lead and love the drumming! I'm loving that "The Great Pestilence" track, could be a horror soundtrack imo. >orphicwren.bandcamp.com Marooned on Olympic Mons blew me away man this sounds professional grade
some acoustic/ambient/darkwhatever stuff i try to execute using only a guitar and its body
I've been using it to improve my skill level on some technical details of production since at every song I try to include something new. (the first track was just me playing around, and track by track i've been taking it more and more seriously).
I like the kinda trip through different styles you've got going on here, it has done Chicago house, some UK Garage bits, it's nice. I'll defo come back to it. the ambient guitar here works real well, good slowcore vibes, and the deep drenching atmosphere reminds me of like Giles Corey but also Durutti Column. Play around with more weird styles and you might have a proper killer on your hands. got a heavy phc sound to it, vocalist needs more confidence and less nose, maybe take classes if u can afford em? It could work if u had more effects on the vocals too, like some Corbin - Mourn type stuff, belt your guts out in your bathroom and then add MORE reverb or smth.
i dont mind the repetitiveness too much bc it fits the digital feeling of the song but something about the kick drums especially just sounded a little stale by halfway through. the hats and the snare were fine but the kick started standing out to me once i noticed it and took away from the rest of it. I'm pretty shit at programming drums lol so I can't put my finger on exactly what it is but maybe messing around with some variation in the kick pattern or layering two samples every now and again would make it sound a bit more dynamic
you have to listen in the car to make sure it sounds good on the car speakers. but i know what you mean about liking your own music so much it feels wrong. i'm listening now it's nice very satisfying sound
my feedback some really nice guitar and vocals on this. need more consistent mixing however, super quiet and often panning is too weird. i feel getting comfortable with a DAW would do u good. I do dig the lofi feel . might have to sample some of ur stuff
cool stuff, never see stuff like this on these threads. nice arrangements
Driven was my favorite. Liked the lead guitar riffs. I also generally dig the vocals. I think if you kept going you'd really be able to grow into a sound of your own.
This is dope man. The production is tight too. Genuinely enjoyed this shit. It felt different. Good job.
Liquid Drum and Bass, made with an analog polysynth and Operator, deep bass and tasty synths, also used samples of Jim Morrison's voice from Light My Fire by The Doors
Recs: I feel cool listening to this Knotweed is sweet, although i'm not a 100% with the vocals, maybe too repetative aswell for my taste The watchmaker is awesome
i have a lot of short tracks like this, not sure if i wanna save them for some emo thing or if i should just put out an album/EP of 90 second ambient guitar bits
at around 1:10 one of the chanting tones seems out of key, is this intentional to make it a lil spooky? because otherwise the track is groovy -- i mean both that i like it and that i'd describe it as goofy
>soundtrack >orchestral >neo-classical >video game ost
From the soundtrack of the visual novel I'm working on.
Will try to do some critique of others in a couple of hours, will be at work for a while. But I would really appreciate any comments/critiques on mine. Cheers!
