The second album, Solid Gold, is basically Entertainment! but better. The Fall is also in the same vein, especially their album Live At The Witch Trials. And if you want a female vocalist then the Au Pairs capture a similar sound.

Double Nickels On the Dime has some similar punk/funk stuff on it. Minutemen in general do this, but a lot of their early stuff is straight up hardcore punk. You'd probably also like Talking Heads' punkier and more repetitious stuff.

thank you.
I already have double nickles, I haven't listened to it yet though.
I know all talking heads songs by heart as well. thanks.

>solid gold is better than entertainment

SEE THE GIRL ON THE TV DRESSED IN A BIKINI

THE WORST THING IN 1954
WAS THE BIKINI

Am I the only person that actually likes this?

probably

Nothing *exactly* like it, but you should be able to enjoy:
A Certain Ratio, Essential Logic, early Killing Joke, early Wire, Public Image Ltd.'s second album, Siouxsie And The Banshees's first two albums, The Cure's debut, The Slits, The Raincoats, and even Adam And The Ants' first album, before they went gay

I like it but it's inferior.

Mission of Burma.

It's a lot "happier" than Go4, but it has those sharp, angular riffs and the funk influence

You can thank me now

>posting stuff from the 90s onwards

i'm listening this now because of you OP

it better be good

i am 3 tracks in and am not impressed so far OP

You really didn't like "Not Great Men"? Come on dog.

>it better be good
How new can you be?
So, a tourist AND underage? Or just an edgy contrarian? All of the above?

it's fine but i'm just not over the moon about it

i mean i don't hate it so it would probably grow on me with a few listens

i'm 24 and have been visting Sup Forums at least once every 2 months since 2006

pft newfag

is this new wave? sounds like talking heads but with more guitar instrumentals

>deliberately alienating and insulting somebody who is giving your band a try
You remind me of people I went to college with who begged me to listen to Mumford and Sons and then shat on me when I told them what I thought of it.

OP listen to The Pop Group's album Y it's like entertainment but way weirder and more funk influenced

>Post-Punk
(Funk Punk/Dance Punk)

post punk

eh i assume he's merely fooling, i wouldn't care anyhow

I Found That Essence Rare is the best one so far

that was my first post itt lol

Sure thing, doll

unless the last 2 songs surprise me At Home He's A Tourist is by far the best

makes me want to consider revisiting this album after i'm done listening

good post user

Sorry dog, it just seemed like you were seriously shitting on that person and not doing light banter.
