How the fuck did you happen to remember the handful of times the album uses distorted synths over the mostly techno, industrial, and 70s/80s synthwork that actually makes up the album? Also you do realize that distorted synths isn't just a Skrillex thing, right and that the instances of it on New Model were emulating the metal genre more so than anything (makes sense since Perty made metal before he did this synthwave thing.)
