THE BIBLE LOL

Anyone who ever held you
Would tell you the way I'm feeling
Anyone who ever wanted you
Would try to tell you what I feel inside
The only thing I ever wanted
Was the feeling that you ain't faking
The only one you ever thought about
Wait a minute can't you see that I

I wanna fall from the stars
Straight into your arms
I, I feel you
I hope you comprehend

For the man who tried to hurt you
He's explaining the way I'm feeling
For all the jealousy I caused you
States the reason why I'm trying to hide
As for all the things you taught me
It sends my future into clearer dimensions
You'll never know how much you hurt me
Stay a minute, can't you see that

I wanna fall from the stars
Straight into your arms
I, I feel you
I hope you comprehend

Too many hearts are broken
A lover's promise never came with a maybe
So many words are left unspoken
The silent voices are driving me crazy
After all the pain you caused me
Making up could never be your intention
You'll never know how much you hurt me
Stay, can't you see that I

I wanna fall from the stars
Straight into your arms
I, I feel you
I hope you comprehend

I wanna fall from the stars
Straight into your arms
I, I feel you
I hope you comprehend

Simon R. Green's Nightside series is more serious but still good along with Jim Butcher's The Dresden Files. If you can find them Glen Cook's Garrett P.I. is also well done.

The Discworld series by Terry Pratchett is pretty damn good, you should give that a try.

He mentioned that he wanted stuff like that in the OP.

yeah, i love it.
sad when he died though.

Anyway, you find those series and they should keep you occupied (and broke) for the next few months. Then go to S.R. Stirling's Change series.

Sometimes I miss working in a book store.

Edwin Abbott: Flatland.
Anonymous: Diary of An Oxygen Thief.

Reminds me, I've got to get rid of about 400 sci-fi/fantasy books. Gotta load them up and find a Goodwill or something. Tried selling them on Craigslist for about a quarter a pop but no takers.

easy - The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

Did his daddy shower him in kisses today?? Did he throw you high into the ceiling, aand just so safely just completely almost ketch you? Did his momma tell him dinners ready and kindly give you a great meal? Did she feed it to him he while she pulled up her dress, and winked and blush and and sigh ? Does you're daddy have a special hole he calls "sanctuary" under the dinner table? Where mommy isn't allowed to look, and he can cut his hair and eat it paint his nails, wear mommy's underwear to pee in ,and especially tickle and soak your feet with his red wet mouth and forked tongue? When you crawl around the floor and see his hole his leather sanctuary, does it make you cry?

flatland definitely looks like something i would love.

good book, shit spinoffs.

Check out Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time. As well and the Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson.

Enjoy mate.

Its also a very quick read as well.........and the whole concept will have you deep in thought for a few days after youre done reading through it.

about us not being able to comprehend higher dimensions? i went through that a while back when i tried to finish this abomination.

Attached: Capture.jpg (632x628, 135K)

Yup!

............speaking of higher dimensions, yall just reached one by getting 2 dubs in the same thread. Imma have to check you my nigga.

if anyone's interested, i often scour kindle for promising ebooks and my most recent finding was a nice little series called Seals of the Duelists.

its a little confusing later on but if you enjoy huge magical feats and an interesting world then this is it.

A Lee Martinez' stuff is pretty good. Similar to Pratchett, pretty silly at times. But there's no coherent world like Discworld since most books are stand-alones in their own world.

Also obviously Douglas Adams

its very easy to see that its not possible. Euler proved that like 400 years ago pal pick up a book.

Similar in style, but not as philosophical I should add

Demon Seed by Dean Koontz

Philip k dick will keep you busy for a couple months

I've read and enjoyed Royce Buckingham's mapper series (at least i think it's called "mapper" in english, seems there are differences between the english and german version). Also his demonkeeper series is supposed to be more lighthearted fantasy, haven't read that though

I saw the most fucking tragic thing in a documentary about Sir Terry, when he was battling Alzheimers while writing Unseen Academicals. He had this amazing setup, about 6 monitors, 2 keyboards, all in his library and he's staring at the keyboards with his finger on his bottom lip. The guys who were filming him asked what was wrong

"I can't remember what 'F' looks like"

Fucking destroyed me

Try "Pants, Serenity, Planks and Fuirgin - A Journey Into Obscurity" by Plebius Ortolgonian

Get Utopia by Lincoln Child. He hasn't written much, but that one's a doozie

Jackwagon: An Odyssey - Craven Morehead

Diary of an Oxygen Thief was a really fun read, It explores the works through the eyes of a sociopathic manipulating self centered cunt that abuses and uses women left and right. Found it very entertaining and scarily similar to some of my own thought processes

Armor by John Steakley.

This is the unabridged saga of political kingmaking that came to define an era, from the crackhouses of Etobicoke to the biggest crackhouse in Toronto.... city hall....
