Irakere - Irakere
Milton Nascimento - Clube Da Esquina

can someone tell me why exporting doesn't work on muchartgenerator?

Because the site is poorly coded

spent all their effort on that gay graphic design I see

I for one think their charts look better than topsters.

they do, but I'm not print screening that shit every time I want a chart

what a thing to fucking get wrong

Sorry I have nothing to rec, my taste is really limited. You both have some nice picks, though.

Thanks to user last night for the Janek Schaefer rec. Replaced one of the records in my chart with it as I did enjoy Glitter In My Tears all the way through.

Also rec me the most self-loathing shit you got, something didn't go as well I wanted it to earlier today.

Chico Hamilton - Gongs East!
And The Native Hipsters - There Goes Concorde Again
Roly Porter - Third Law
Black Mountain Transmitter - Black Goat Of The Woods
Boredoms - Pop Tatari

whats the difference between the two ravedeaths?

We have similar tastes, i think. Will have to check a few of yours out

Are there any charts on modern hip-hop (2010+)

Robbie Basho - Visions of the Country

Suffocate For Fuck Sake - Blazing Fires and Helicopters

Legit never seen Goreshit on someones chart before. That albums great tho

Stick to a few genres you really like and listen to some lesser known stuff in them. You won't get anywhere just listening to the top albums of different genres

Charles Hamilton - The Pink Lavalamp

HELL YEA Harley Poe is the GOAT. Since you have some twinkly emo on there, check out Chinese Football

Nice chart. Saved to check out the stuff I haven't heard from it. Listen to A Ticking Clock I Couldn't Stop by Afterlives

Funny, the guy who recommended harley poe was in one of these threads. Chinese Football is really cool stuff.

How do you feel about Lil' Peep's death?

No lie, I cried last night when I heard the news. I really liked his music and I feel like an idiot for skipping out on seeing him live when he was in my town last month. Also supper sad because one of my friends was working on a collab with him that's never gonna happen now

I never heard anything by him, but I appreciated his persona. It's a bummer to hear he died.

Finally finished mine today guys!

help, I'm a pleb

critiques and recommendations welcomed

could you post that background image for me?
do you know who made it? I have a hard on for medieval-ish type paintings

...

These are my most listened to albums in 2017
I haven't really kept up with what is going on in music for the past year and a half due to heavy work.
I usually play what was already on my media player

That Janek Schaefer rec was from me! I'm glad you enjoyed it, user, and I'll check out Black Mountain Transmitter when I get a chance.

Dropped pianos is a frostier set of tracks that are basically the B sides to Ravedeath, 1973, but I like listening to them because they have this cool, melancholic tone to the piano notes.

If you're looking for electronic sounding music, here's some stuff that came out last year you might enjoy:

Nathan Fake - HoursDaysMonthsSeasons
Clark - Death Peak
Still Corners - Dead Blue
Algiers - The Underside of Power (bluesy/angry rock)
Nine Inch Nails - Add Violence

Pretty scary how close you are...

Get off the computer Noah, it's your bedtime

You might get a kick out of anything by Boris Grebenshikov's solo work. Also this artist, whose actual albums I can't find but has really good individual songs: youtube.com/watch?v=bkD6x17w85Q
Have you tried much dream pop? Anything like Cocteau Twins or Julee Cruise seems up your alley.
Suicide, probably.

bump

...

...

i like you
is this the only place you find new music?
the homeshakes and the knife are probably up your ally
do you actually like pulse demon?
what'd ya think of the new crywank album?
the chainsaw kittens, elo, shearwater, the yard birds, red house painters, roberto cacciapaglia, sterolabs
turbid north, red red meat, red fang, clutch, sabbaz palace, the I.L.Y's and hella, mort garison
get on some modest mouse

If you find out please let me know

i didn't like pulse demon the first time i heard it, but it grew on me

entry level shitty noise lmao

k

man i cant make it past the first song normally

I've tried to rec a few things with what I knew... Anyway, recs appreciated!

Goldfrapp - Systemagic
Zola Jesus - Soak
MONO - Cyclone

Heaven's Basement - Filthy Empire
Dead Sara - Pleasure to Meet You

I liked it. My friend who's big into them was disappointed that they were using electronic instruments, but I didn't mind. It was fresh.

Definitely not as heartfelt feeling as his first album, and not as catchy or virtuosic as their third, but definitely better than their second album.

My favorite tracks were Falling Down a Hole and A Deer Mistaking Candles for Headlights. What'd you think?

What's some good noise if I thought pulse demon was sort of neat?

A lot of other Merzbow projects with different quirks are good. 1930, Venereology, Hybrid Noisebloom, Merzbeat.
You can also check out other great Japanese noise projects, like Hanatarash (a good album would be Raw)
Also look into this stuff:
Masonna - Spectrum Ripper
Prurient - Frozen Niagara Falls
Jason Crumer - Ottoman Black
Boredoms - Pop Tatari
Skullflower - Form Destroyer
Fushitsusha - Pathétique
Lightning Bolt - Wonderful Rainbow
Les Rallizes Dénudés - '77 Live
The last few are more noise rock than harsh noise, but still very noisy and worth it.

Com Truise - Iteration is pretty neat

Also, B-Sides over Near Dark? Really surprised by that one.
