Defeater is a concept band that's been telling one story through different perspectives across their albums. This one is the story of an older brother from an abusive family, who vows revenge against his younger brother for killing their father.
This song is the absolute climax to their story. This honestly could be Post-Rock instead of Hardocre/Screamo. They use their instruments to simulate marching, the rising in action, and of course, the oncoming train. Listen to this shit because it's amazing.
