Getting down to brass tacks, I think that this is destroying our society. Yes, I believe that man and woman are equals, but not in the way that feminism wants to make them. Male and female both have specific things that they are the best at. Is that so wrong? Why so much effort to purge and bandy about "equality"?
I believe, and this is my own opinion, that modern feminism is geared and pointed to making men less so that being a man is something to be ashamed of. I'm not sure this is fair.

Personally I think that modern day "feminists" ( not sure if you could even call them that but never the less) want to feel superior and over power men but also want to be oppressed so they can get sympathy points. Obviously there are a few that are decent human beings but the vast majority are sadly not.

It's mainly spreading through mainstream media and news outlets so I'd assume third - wave feminism has its roots buried somewhere there. I wouldn't be able to pin point an exact reason for its existence because it certainly isn't for equality. It's currently quiet trendy to hate men and think women are both oppressed and powerful and honestly the sheer popularity of it is pretty scary to me.

Destroying society was more of future talk. I think that is this keeps going as it is it will make society disfunctional.
You can see this beginning to happen in the workplace. Women are taken on, even if men are more capable. Men are rejected because women will feel offended.
