Why do people defend and justify the assassination of Inejiro Asanuma as righteous? If you look at any of the comment replies on videos of his assassination you see a bunch of 14yo Sup Forums-hards saying he deserved it for being commie scum and that all commie bastards should be killed.
Isn't this just regressive McCarthian thinking? From what I could gather, Inejiro didn't even seem that influential, just a loudmouth with Maoist leanings. The socialist party was already fragmented then and hardly holds any power now. Could some nip bros provide some insight? Why defend murder over ideals?
Besides censure of speech, ideas, and people without evidence to suppress political dissidence?
What isn't wrong with McCarthian thinking? It's the same line of thinking as the current political left, just re-branded.
Brody Lee
There is nothing wrong with suppressing commies though. Look what happens when you don't. McCarthy was right at any rate. We really need to bring back the Hollywood blacklist and the HUAC
Ryan Collins
there is literally nothing wrong with killing commies

Communism is a disease, sometimes violence is the only option
James Perez
because Sup Forumstards have ISIS tier logic >violence is okay if its done to people I don't like
all that freedom of speech rhetoric they espouse is just bullshit. If it was for them there would be mass graves of lefties.

Communists and leftists must be "physically removed" from society they are a cancer and the only way to deal with them is a great purge.

Guys do you remember this jap guy who was a traditionalist, assaulted a military station (or somethibg like that) and ended commiting sudoku? Can't remember his name.
Joseph Smith
Suppressing commies is good. If they get too powerful they will execute your royal house and destroy your entire nation.
As far as I'm concerned, the fact that you DON'T want to punish them is a second-order offence and people should punish you for it.

I've always been impressed with the assassin. There's a guy that was on a mother fucking mission, and holy shit did he fucking complete that mission. Meanwhile I'm spending my youth sitting in front of the computer.
Jaxson Nelson
Because it's black and white footage of a melee political assassination. It appeals to the Che shirt crowd.
Because it's a display of fervent japanese nationalism. I highly doubt japan would have fallen to communism had this assassination not taken place, but this young man decided it was worth giving his life for nonetheless.
It's a sort of romanticism.
Leo Martinez
Communists are a plague. Like really, you have to be a fucking retard to think communism is something that will advance humanity.

McCarthy did literally nothing wrong
all his info came from Ex-CIA who were disgusted with how the CIA refused to go after communist spies.
The only time he was ever wrong was when the actual CIA began a disinformation campaign against him.

I don't see how the McCarthy era is any evidence for McCarthian thought process, how the Hollywood blacklist was a good thing, or how punishing people who question why suppression through murder is a counter-argument/positive thing.
Regarding "It's ok/commendable that he was murdered because communism is dangerous", again sounds like the same reasoning behind justifying black lives matter people attacking white pride/superiority rallies, or religious individuals having their property/career destroyed/slandered because they don't support gay marriage (when it has nothing to do with their career choice).
That I can understand, thanks.
We can talk again when you're not such a disappointment to me, son. At least in the 60's to 80's you were a centre of debauchery that turned a profit. Now you're just a socially left cesspool of favelas, futebol cara, and novelas.
And stop fucking up our language, you're embarrassing us.
He deserved it for being commie scum and that all commie bastards should be killed.

Why don't you understand dominance, power and survival you stupid cunt?

If the US allowed Japan to be pulled into the Chinese or Soviet sphere of influence this guy would gladly collaborate with them to oppress millions of his countrymen, sic secret police on them and destroy their families.
Dozens of weak loudmouths like him were given this opportunity during the Cold War, and gladly took it. He absolutely deserved it.

OP can't come to terms with the fact that communism is a cancerous and destructive failure of an ideaology . he's probably leftypol given the flag.
Gabriel Cook
I'm actually right leaning, libertarian. I don't agree with socialism and especially not communism, but I also don't agree with murder.
This is a cogent argument, I can understand why people think it was necessary, but personally I don't think the murder was justified as that behaviour sets a precedent for further action and martyrdom.
t. fat americans and angry bald anglos "the only answer to something that mildly threatens my ideology is murder!" You both deserve the cancerous left eating your society from within, as much as Portugal is an economical shit hole we still hold closer to conservative societal values than either of you would hope for.
I was going based on what the other ameriposter said, but thanks for the links, I'll read up.
You're big ass spiders are just as capricious and yellow as you are, nip, you're not gonna fool me.

conservative societal values is what I said, which it is. especially compared to you and germany, you homosexual ackbar
people still don't like gays, not into interracial marriage, have kids, prefer their actual gender roles. the last time I saw a societal lefty on TV everyone (including the TV hosts) laughed her off.
the only societal lefty thing we do is avoid war (because we're lazy), treat drug addiction as a disease (which actually works), have colonial immigrants (so does every former empire), and recently legalized gay marriage.

McCarthy did nothing wrong, and there is nothing wrong with killing Communists.
>The Communist death toll totals 94 million.[4] The breakdown of the number of deaths given by Courtois is as follows:
> 65 million in the People's Republic of China > 20 million in the Soviet Union > 2 million in Cambodia > 2 million in North Korea > 1.7 million in Ethiopia > 1.5 million in Afghanistan > 1 million in the Eastern Bloc > 1 million in Vietnam > 150,000 in Latin America, mainly Cuba > 10,000 deaths "resulting from actions of the international Communist movement and Communist parties not in power."[4]
