You're probably in your mid-to-late teens and you discover most of your music. Also you're a withdrawn and sort of anti-social introvert. INTP.
Castanets - Cathedral
maudlin of the Well - Bath
You're also a teen, probably a year or so older than OP, you're a bit more social and you're artsy. ENTP?
Second poster here, yeah I'm 18 and kinda artsy but I never did a personality test.
There's one on 16personalities.com

Fluctuates between INFP and ENFP (it's very close) but recently it's been more ENFP so you're right.

Also I'm just saying we should really have a new system where anyone who doesn't reply to other people are just ignored, I'm sick of these shallow narcissists adding nothing to discussion
Nice taste man, I feel like you could educate me on jazz, and yeah as far as reccs go I'm just surprised you don't have The Shape of Punk To Come:

I mean, I like The Shape of Punk To Come a lot, but I haven't quite felt comfortable enough doing a Top 100 list that I feel represents what I like accurately and that doesn't end up with people skipping like 90% of it. I already feel like they do with a Top 42, honestly.
As for jazz, it's one of those things where you have to find out what you like, which is a tad more difficult than any other genres - on the other hand, if you can identify the playing styles of musicians and have some time with Wikipedia you can probably figure out which albums to listen to. Based on the stuff you have, I think you might enjoy Hank Mobley and Lee Morgan in particular. Check out the work they did with other people too, however.
Mine isn't nearly as aesthetic as anyone else's here :(
also shit, if we're doing the personality thing i'm ISFJ
Highly surprised in seeing Like An Old Fashioned Waltz, very nice!
>Based on the stuff you have, I think you might enjoy...
You absolute sound man, thanks I'll check them out, see I've been really going out of my way to listen to more Jazz & Instrumental stuff so thanks
And as for Jazz styles In A Silent Way's style is definitely the best I've heard, I just found it really atmospheric and captivating. I feel like I'm mostly into atmospheric, slow jazz, not rhythmic or improv shit
>Dinosaur Jr- Bug
Kid I already recommended you that like a week ago, I like your chart tho and you did say you're enjoying them, but yeah you gotta listen to Stereolab man c'mon, start with Emperor Tomato youtube.com
Jesus not only is that a cool looking chart you actually have the best fucking taste here man, recommend you check out Long Fin Killie for gay baroque tunes, maybe some Philip Glass for that minimalist shit, and WHERE THE FUCK IS NICK DRAKE MAN???
Man I am liking your taste as well, you're too patrician for me cause you'll clearly know anything I recc, but sure check out Seafeel, maybe The Raincoats and Chrome

You Should definitely check it out, I find the three albums released on island after 1919 to be more rock oriented and accessible though. I would check out Helen of Troy, the first few songs are good selling points for the album.
>GG - Octopus
Good but I'm not sure it clicks. Might require multiple listens to get into it. Good recommendation though.
>Close to the Edge / Fly by Night
I have all of Rush and all of early Yes and enjoy it all (except Rush s/t), thanks
