It took me something like five tries to get into witcher 3, and the only reason i did was because of everyone and their dog wanking it. The controls feel so laborious and the combat gets old fast.
That said, best side quest philosophy in a game I've ever seen. Every single one of them has an interesting story behind it and I wish more games would put that level of effort in.

I have a love/hate relationship with this game.
The story, the soundtrack, the bosses and the gameplay were amazing. But this shitty mechanic with the relationship meter and the fact that all presents you gave her raised the bar only 1mm was annoying. In fact it made me stop playing this game for a whole year. And when I returned and finished it, the soundtrack and the best ending you could get in the game made me fall in love with it all over again.

The game could have been a 5 if the relationship between aeron and helena would have developed itself through the story rather than through a tedious and boring mechanic.
