I didn't really care about my parents concern over anime, I like what I like and it doesn't hurt anyone ands I haven't become one of those weebs that thinks katanas are the greatest weapon ever and speaks broken japanese and the sort. Guess I got lucky in that they didn't really care too much about it shortly after
#2 Well, I could see. But you know, uh anti-anime brothers that are older are the greatest. made me have to think a week about importing an anime game. That game of which was Initial D: Extreme Stage on PS3.
I never had to deal with an older brother given I'm the oldest of 3, but I'm pretty sure if you don't let him make you feel bad or ajything about it then it'll stop pretty quickly
I don't really feel bad, but it just gets irritating when he's around and makes fun of me, ya know? punches are nice, too. Anyways, yeah. For instance, Eurobeat. Made in italy, Played in Initial D. "Gay Anime Music." Me, watching anime, doing nothing else. "Fucking Weeb." The list goes on, those are the ones I just thought of right now.
good to hear. my day's been way too fast, but not in a good way. well, is it supposed to be good? a fast day being a good day? i think that's how it works
Yeah I get that. I just always went along with it because it 1) Took tge punvh out of what they were saying and 2) I love self deprecating humor. So when others in school called me a weeb or stuff like that I'd respind with, "Ye boi! Gonna die alone but man this is dank!" After like a week tops they just stopped and left me to it. Like I said, I never had to deal with an older bro so I'm not sure how that'd work with family but I think the same general concept applies. Just don't really give a damn what he says and you do you
#2 Yeah, I do that too. Like say, "Are you Retarded?" I respond, "I really do think I am, but apparently not." Really fixes things, but ya know. annoyances still unfortunantly exist.
Yeah, I feel that. I thankfully got to a point where if it didn't make me laugh I didn't care when it came to that stuff. Got me marked as a 'chill dude' which was nice
You got the lucky part then. I'm marked as the 'Self Hating Depressed Weeb/Weirdo.' i mean, I do have depression, but I try not to show it. Anyways, yeah. Someone's like "Oh, go Kill yourself." I say: "Already considered it." Good way for them to question who they said it to, but not so good to the rep.
Yeah probably not the best. At first I was marked as the retarded weirdo co sodering I did weird shit all the time from middle school to highschool, but after a while of just doing my own thing and not caring about what they say it changed to user just being user. My stuff became so commonplace that I went to my senior prom in full blown drag and no one really gave a damn, a lot of people came up and said that it was funny as hell, got high fives, etc. I think I still have some pictures in fact
