Hey Sup Forums, I need help gaining weight.
>6' tall, 135 lbs.
>barely an ounce of fat on my body

2 years ago I had a major surgery, and during the recovery I went from 140 to 125 lbs, due to oxycontin destroying my appetite. I managed to get back to a somewhat normal weight, but i cant seem to gain anything else.

>daily diet consists of a lot of meat (chicken, pork, beef, seafood) and carbs
>eat fruits and veggies so my daily shits dont kill me
>drink lots of water and milk
>i dont exercise but i work as a stocker at a grocery store, which involves a lot of labor.
>cant seem to consume more than 1500 calories in a day without feeling full, nauseous and bloated.
>small amounts of food fill me up for seemingly hours

Any advice? I dont want to be a humongous ripped chad, just dont want to appear weak and lanky to girls. Since high school not a single girl has looked my way

side note- drink about 2 cups of coffee per day and use a JUUL (the faggy e-cigarette thing). Appetite suppressors, i know. But i need it

You have to force yourself to eat. Even when you are full. And you have to eat 4-6 times a day. the diet is fine, you just have to force yourself.

After a week of forcing food down your throat your appetite will increase, it gets used to it. Also, you should still try to lift weights. Get a good strength program like stronglifts or starting strength and follow that routine. There is 100% chance you'll gain weight if you follow all this for a month. Track calories if needed. If you don't gain weight, you aren't eating enough. Eating enough is the hardest part

It's not supposed to be enjoyable. If it were enjoyable everyone would be a jacked chad. You can try shakes too. Go to myprotein and get strawberry and cream protein powder and instant oat powder. mix that with peanut butter and it literally tastes like a fucking ice cream shake, and its like 800 calories and goes down so easy. But real food is still better, you can use that to supplement calories

Just try to force yourself to eat a few extra bites every meal past what you think you can eat, and your body gets used to it

forcing yourself to eat is bullshit, you need to start working out, plain and simple, it utilizes the food you eat faster, making you more hungry often. Also increases your weight. SO yeah.

Lift, or just do pushups until failure a few times, just exercise dude

obviously sarcasm but i do drink a lot of beer. it fills me up and then i dont want to eat as much. if i cut it out id probably be much healthier

Dude whats your age? Had a similar problem when younger, super fast metabolism. Problem is when I hit 35 that metabolism came to an almost dead stop. Look like a beached walrus now.

So 5 months ago I was 166 pounds and I'm 6ft 5 In I know your struggle, but fear not I started working out and in 3 months I gain twenty pounds. I work as a assistant butcher and lift allot of meat and shit but that nearly isn't enough. Also when you start working out you want to eat more. Also drinking water as you sweat makes me hungry.

yeah when i ran cross country in high school i could consume 3000 calories in a day no problem. My job simply doesnt allow me to have time to have a regular workout schedule. and when i start taking flight lessons soon ill have even less time. Plus id have to work out alone since i have no friends

eat junk/fast food, drink fuck loads of soda, play vidya 24/7

yes to the junk food, like potato chips and buttery stuff. the fat is what im looking for

soda is just empty calories. No nutritional value whatsoever. I try to avoid at all costs

That sucks, I work out alone because I want to. I do 45 min after every shift. So that's 5 times a week.

Beached walrus here, take an old mans advice and enjoy being able to eat what ever you like. Keep an eye out for when the slowdown hits though, type 2 Diabetus sucks donkey balls.

do you go to a gym or have a garage and workout equipment? or do you just wing it

my father has type 2 diabetus. Im trying to avoid going down that road at all costs
