Femanon here

Femanon here.
I was wondering if any of you boys could help me.

How do you VERBALLY answer a division problem that always produces a remainder without end?

example; 7/3 = 2.333333333

Please help me.

Recurring
Booby pls?

2.3 recurring

2.3 continued

its repeating dumbshit

2.3 repeating

Either "seven thirds"
or "two point three three three repeating"

What's repeating?

two and one third

I dont see tits or a timestamp

I've never heard it called 'repeating' outside of primary school. It's recurring.

Well, which is it? Recurring or continued or repeating?

What is the proper word I should use to verbally express the concept of a division problem that always has a remainder?

2.33, repeating of course

repeating
That'd because you never got past primary school

Just don't admit you are a virgin. He will understand.

Uneven division

>of course

The answer clearly isn't obvious because three different anons have used three different words to describe this concept. Which word is correct? Recurring or continued or repeating?

Write the date on your palm

Depends on how precise you need to be. I'd probably just say 2.3 in normal conversation. In math class, I'd say "two point three repeating"

"Two point three three three three three three three three three three three three three three three three three three three three three three th-..."

666=666

that's your answer

That isn't anywhere near precise. Quit being lazy.

>repeating
But that's wrong. The correct word is recurring.

Stopped reading there, kys

Liar

Use the word recurring

The correct word is continued.

This user is correct

Repeating is a better word. Recurring doesn't imply indefinitely

2.3 repeating

wikipedia.org/wiki/Repeating_decimal
It's both. Recurring is more popular, in my experience.

You put the dumb line over the 3...you are not female and not that good looking

Nobody gives a CRAP about your experience, virgin boy.

You faggots really will argue over anything. Fuck.

2.3 replicating

Yeah well at least I'm not you LMAO

If you look up the definition of recurring one of the caveats relates specifically to mathematics. Recurring is the correct word, the others are acceptable but not strictly correct.

It's a meme retard, repeating of course

Clearly edited by people not using the metric system.

The correct word to describe this concept is continued.

put a horizaontal line over 3? it goes on forever.

Imagine you have to give an oral presentation and you have to verbally express the concept of a three with a horizontal line over it.

What word would you use to describe this concept?

recursing

two point three repeating.

2.3 continuing

two point three revolving

2.3 repetend.

Repetend is used by the math wizards I have encounteted (post-doc math nerds)

Ad infinitum

Tits or GTFOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO (repeating)

It would be stated "two point three, ad infinitum"

Look at all these fucking faggots

2.3 until forever

Post Tits and I'll help you pronounce "two and one third."

Two and a third is more precise.

I'm 18. Never said anything remotely suggesting the contrary.
