Should I listen to this album? I liked her first album a lot, but I'm afraid this will be green-haired SJW socialist propaganda like the last Knife album, and once I read the lyrics the album turned from fantastic to total garbage.
What do you think about this?
Jackson Jackson
I liked it okay!
Grayson Lee
To the Moon and Back and Red Trails are the only songs I like.
Andrew Diaz
good beats shit lyrivcs
Thomas Lopez
Her lyrics have always been like that. You're just a retarded user who just started browsing within the past year or two.
Jason Phillips
That's good, how come?
What is the themes or specific talking points on here?
Ethan Collins
The production is fun and the vocals took on a nice Marnie Stern flavor.
Matthew Wright
Jesus christ you are an insecure fuck
Christian Morales
Who?
Aiden Morris
This. Just listen, don’t give a shit about what’s been said about this record or any record. Easily top 15 of the year for me btw
Liam Nguyen
Don't
Wyatt Taylor
Wasn't the other guy from The Knife the SJW one?
Logan Jenkins
No. I want to know what people think about it so I can form an opinion about whether I think they are wrong or right.
Xavier Carter
>green-haired SJW socialist propaganda like the last Knife album that last Knife album was still good on its own merits I disagree with almost all it has to say, but it still musically fantastic
when you listen to Burzum or Fanisk do you have to agree with their ideology to enjoy the music?
new Fever Ray is musically shit though wait for the new Oni Ayhun (which is never)
Christian Scott
You are definitely correct but I still find it hard to do this.
If an album tries to stand for something I strongly disagree with I can't help but like it less, regardless of how it sounds. Maybe it makes me more critical of its flaws I dunno.
Samuel Gutierrez
Good production, but the lyrical themes are just too much, cant really tune them out once you know what is being said.
Mason Green
I just read the lyrics and all the songs are just
>GUYS I'M A FUCKIN LESBIAN GODDAMN IT
Nothing really "socialist propaganda" tee bee haitch, unless you count people being fags and propaganda.
Lucas Peterson
I agree with it being musically excellent, but the lyrics and the themes ruined that for me.
I don't like music that makes that aspect unavoidable. For example, I disagree with godspeed's politics, but their music can be applied to a hundred million contexts.
Carter Ortiz
Really? The first track is all about shitting on capitalism. Second one is about how conservatives bother her. Third one is about the luxuries of the upper class. Sixth one is about income inequality and the evils of western civilisation and how it "profits off of poverty". The last track literally says "Dysfunctional culture, ready to lose a privilege, an ongoing habit, a transfer of possessions." Like come on, did you not read the album? I was referring to Shaking the Habitual
Joshua Bailey
Oh sorry my man I was talking about the new FR album.
Connor Perry
Nah it's cool, I thought you were talking about Shaking. I was like "What? Did you not hear the album?"
Jacob Peterson
It's fucking good. Fucking listen to it. Fucker.
Parker Morris
Y'all bitches for hating or refusing to listen
Anthony Carter
>getting cucked by lyrics Lmaoing at your life
David Cook
is this carach angren
Henry Lee
its good. not great like the debut, but just good.
