I met a guy online, and he and I have been working on some tracks together. I honestly haven't had this much fun in a long time, so if you ever get the chance to collab with someone, I highly recommend doing it.
the bandcamp/soundcloud/youtube threads are fairly new like maybe a year old. they're pretty annoying desu since people like "mileycurseword" abuse the shit out of them. but if i recall correctly, he started them. meh. they're made way too frequently.

You werent wrong about VGM music. Your whole page feels like an RPG. Great composition on most things, if not a little too simple. Im a huge fan of Griz. Really well produced, and slaps hard. I don't really dig this genre but he does it really well, flow is solid, and everything is sound sonically. OOOOOHH THAT SLOWDOWN THOU. I wouldve loved to hear some variation on the drums, but other than that it was crazy chill. BUT BEEF IS FIRE MAN GOOD STUFF
I was taken aback at first but once i stopped looking at it through a traditional lense i really enjoyed the piece as a whole. I like where youre going with that.
Great vgm, feels like a lot of different invironments. Fun and pretty catchy I like your stuff m8 Great lroduction, the composition is awesome as well, I enjoyed those vocals a lot. Interesting song, how it builds up to an excellent ending Groovy track, the vocals are too much on the backround, it feels more as a 80s track, cool stuff
>soundcloud.com/daevhelsinki Cool. Whats doing the bass in Baby? If it's software, did you run it through any outboard gear? Sounds nice and fat.
I'd bring up the level of the vocals in lost/lust, at least up through the refrain in the first half ("lost...lust...lost..."). But that's pretty subjective. I like your lead synths. Very Vangelis. Overall getting kind of a Sting / 90's electronica vibe.
I'd bring up the vocal in Kiss also. Or add presence or something. This is just a perspective thing though. I'm seeing the songs as songs more than beats, so I'm wanting to hear the vocal as the focus. Kiss is my favorite track so far.
Smile is my second favorite. I might make some of the elements besides the ambient background and the percussion wider. The guitar, the lazery synth that comes in in the singing sections.
is mine. Just a little thing from some sounds I was working on.

Thanks for all that and funny we come to the same conclusion. I went for quieter vocals so as not to make this some type of singer/songwriter performance peace and personally find with electronic music that overpowering vocals really intrude on the aethetic feel of the songs and soundscape I am trying to create. Think elements of vaporwave and shoegaze.
That bass was a Roland jupiter bass synth and I got my man 'Dullatron' (Check on Spotify) to really squeeze the bass like say that old house classic 'Can You Feel It' my Mr. Fingers.
Vocals were also done under extremely rushed circumstances so feel super self-conscious about pushing the volume on them.
As an ep I am super happy with it and now what steps to take in the future.
What was your stuff if you want me to have a listen?
Leo Wilson
Sweet. Do you have a Jupiter 8/6?
Mine was this thing. Just a clip of some sounds I was working on. Not much to say probably just posted it to get some initial reactions really clyp.it/bt5gjnwm

To answer your question about bass more: yeah we ran it through a desk and fattened it up through that even more before plug-ins
Jack Bell
Was a jupiter plugin that came as default with Pro Tools...not even bad.
Eli Taylor
Oh neat. Did you listen to my clip? ttps://clyp.it/bt5gjnwm
Listen to that and tell me that fist 10 seconds doesn't move you
It sounds like a song from my memory that I can't remember. First person to find the song I'm trying to remember that sounds similar, I'll send 20 bucks through PayPal/Bitcoin, w.e.
Damn this is some good stuff, surprised it doesn't have a bigger following. I guess my only criticism would be that the lyrics aren't really my thing and the melody gets a little stale by the end of the song (referring to Baby).

I only released this week man, hoping to build up.
