We are berber not latin

I am celt

I am frank

My language is 50% French. Do I qualify?

We are Celts invaded by Romans and G*rmanics.

Shit happens. Move on.

25%

I am taifale

>Rumanía
Come on, Joao, don't invite those.

If you count both the Latin and French words it is close to 50%.

But some gauls were almost germanic

What am I m8's.

Why do you guys keep making this general? It's a nice idea but it doesn't work, it's always a shitfest

>it's always a shitfest

That's why I like it.

...

It's nice when you guys are gone, because then we can all sit back, speak our native tongues, and understand eachother.

You can stay Romenia.

>slavturk shithead gypsies
>latin
>gauls
>latin
french language doesnt even pronounce vowels like a proper romance language

>mezclar a bandeira republicana coa bandeira monarquica
disgusting

...

>tfw

That 'portuguese' """"guy"""" looks french af

Yeah, he looks like a faggot

...

That's why I said """guy"""", you faggy daggo.

was talking about romaninas jej
in the other side, portuguese was cucked by the suevii pretty hard, reason its the only language to have the same weekday names than ecclesiastical latin
>calling weekdays "First", "second," "third"...

A bit rude desu...
do you understand romanians?

takes one to know one

That weekday thing doesn't have anything to do with the Suebians. It comes from Ecclesiastical Latin.

Not really, they rarely post anyway.

fuck off

we /mena/ now

it was a suevian priest that implemented it. i know it comes from ecclesiastical latin

Why are Italians so fucking good at Classical Music. It's not even fair. I can't find a single good one that is Portuguese and I keep finding new ones from Italy.

That priest wasn't Suebian. He was born in Hungary.

Anyways Suebians were based dudes.

They changed how land ownership was made here in the North. That's why everyone has a least a small patch of land here, the opposite of the rest of the country.

I am latin

>everyone has a small patch of land
same in Galicia
its called "minifundios" and due to the mountain geography and the acidic terrain, they are almost always very shitty land.
In andalucia its the opposite, "Latifundios" with huge surface

I mean they were "le blonde barbarians" but they had some pretty interesting stuff to share. Plus they integrated SUPER fast, it's not that common to happen when migrations in mass occur. They kept our language instead of imposing theirs. The Anglo-Saxon-Jutes did the opposite.

Same thing in Alentejo.

They also tried conquering the whole peninsula but failed against the Visigoths.
I always thought that was interesting because they never teach you this stuff properly in history class.

Portugal doesn't remember the Suebians much. They were mainly in the North, and Portuguese history from there is quite ignored.

same with the visigoths
and since the government is made up of self-hate lefitsts pro-balkanization, spanish military victories are generally overlooked, we are just taught the general stuff like Columbus, Napoleon....

That's because they push the Portuguese narrative at the time of independence versus the actual complete historical narrative (for instance, pretty much all Portucalese/Portuguese counts before Henry tried to rebel for independence) by which time the North has a lot of history to count on (especially on cities such as Braga). It's quite interesting, unique, and beautiful, and it's a shame it is ignored.

SOMOS los descendientes de Roma

>/latin/
>todos hablando en ingles

>France and Catalunha

kek.

É mais o vício do Sup Forums. Álias, não sei os Franceses e os Romenos nos conseguem entender.

la mutua intelligibilità tra le lingue latine è sopravvalutata

superior aryan coming thru :^)

e por isso que o frances e o rumano non son linguas romances tan "puras" coma as linguas iberorromances e italicas.

Inglês é 60% latim, de qualquer dos modos

...

hahaha just like 410 :^)

Entiendo todo en portugués y como un 80% de italiano

i like being called latin
i'd much rather be latin than a snownigger, fuck everything east of the rhine and fuck that sick obsession with blonde hair and blue eyes

if anyone asks me i tell them france is a latin country speaks latin language, always been that way

our country teaches french but that doesn't mean i speak it
so do you speak it?
one of the most important things for a cultural identity is a language

I thought you guys identified more with places like the Netherlands, though. How of curiosity, do you see your country more as Catholic or as Protestant?

Netherlands ? Definitely not. UK yes. UK is different.

And we are much more Catholic than Protestant, this is pretty much a fact

We LARP as gauls, not as franks.

Sometimes, we do, but it's just for the memes, I guess.

Well historically we used to roleplay as Latin until Napoleon III, going as far as starting a "Latin Empire" in South America.
Then iirc it was the 3rd Republic that decided to switch the propaganda to whiter ethnicities, like teaching in schools that we wuz Gauls and Franks, as northern Europe became more powerful than southern Europe during the 19th century.

I think it's entirely up to us to roleplay as what we want and today we'd be better off roleplaying as Latins than Germans to be entirely honest

this and ONLY THIS

A shame the term Latin was completely run trough the mud by the Latin Americans.

I wouldn't mind Latin as term for Western/Southwestern Euros.

I see. You're like the Brits who pose as Romanized Celts mixed with Germanic Anglo-Saxons.
They're much more Germanic and you're much more Latin, but you're both still a mix.

I want to LARP as a comfy small tribe that used to live in my ancestors' region.

Only culturally.

Obviamente.

>tfw from the west, yet brown hair and eyes

I thought gauls were pure aryans... :^(

Are you literally my cousin.

Only difference I have is alittle more Iberian and alittle less anglo

locally you can do that, i mean normands roleplay as fucking vikings even though there's hardly anything viking left

i don't think on a national level the obscure tribe of the taifales is good enough to be part of the national roman of a nuclear top 10 world power let's be honest

Has french BANTER fallen so low...?

Are BRs welcome? We're latin and we speak a latin language

Wait until you travel off the country.

Western European facial structure + brown eyes and and hair + pink or cumskin is literally easy mode with girls.

People in South Korea would come and ask me to speak English and take pictures. Surreal, honestly.

:(

I don't want them to be cucked by latins.

heh, good to know :^)
Unfortunately, I look like a fucking kid. Also I'm a manlet (181 cm)

¿Y porque te entiendo lo que escribes sin saber italiANO?

You're not a direct son of Rome though

You're my exact height. I don't think that's being a manlet.

cane cacca

When you see some girls taller than you/as tall as you in the street, don't you feel like a fucking subhuman?

Why are italians like this?
