>Taoiseach pledges to use office to advance LGBT rights
Interesting tidbit from the article: "Madrid officials have already installed a number of same-sex couple and gender neutral traffic lights across the city, which will remain in place even after World Pride is over".

I would have assumed that Madrid had more pressing issues.

>same-sex couple and gender neutral traffic lights

>I would have assumed that Madrid had more pressing issues.
What more important issues should the Madrid tourism board be concentrating on?

...

Both West Brits.

ded

>play a game
>want to like it because the atmosphere and story are really fun
>the game itself is shite and not fun at all, only frustrating
Fun in a game is supposed to come from a fair challenge. It's not fun if the difficulty revolves around becoming extremely intimate with an archaic control scheme.

Almost anything else. Preferably things actually related to tourism.

Realized how bad a poster I am.

You use correct capitalisation and punctuation; that makes you better than the LARPers and normalfag posters at least. So you're not in the bottom 15% of posters.

Awake.

Any plans for this most holy sabbath?

>Realized
>z
Holy shit user.

>capitalist piggu supporting the use of american english
Typical.

Maidin.

Sabbath is Saturday, not Sunday. It's why Jewish calendars start on Sunday and end on Saturday.

No.

>capitalist piggu supporting the use of american english
Didn't spot that desu.

The Jewish Republic of Ireland

>"Michael Lyster is joined by Colm O'Rourke and Pat Spillane for live coverage of Dublin v Westmeath from Croke Park in the Leinster Senior Football semi-final"
>showing bad games
Look at this Dub pandering

The Catholic Sabbath is Sunday.

Dub GAA fans are coincidentally the worst GAA fans. Bunch of knackers that refuse to travel outside Dublin for matches.

It is related. Madrid are the world pride capital for 2017.

>world pride capital for 2017.
Why is that a thing?

Tourism

Dubs are ruining the sport for me, it's difficult to take a sport seriously when one team plays at home virtually all the time. It's a considerable advantage and never a level playing field.

An exchange of positive lgbt events for profile and tourism. Similar to the culture capital thing that has been knocking around the european cities for a while.

Seems rather cynical.

>An exchange of positive lgbt events
That seems like a way of isolating the gay community rather than the integration they claim to be seeking.

Why are straight people so dumb?

I'd imagine it's targeted at Americans who are fairly ignorant of the outside world. It flies a big flag to announce their city as gay friendly and thus safe to be flamboyant in.

>Why are straight people so dumb?
Not fond of this tumblr-esque direction /éire/ has been taking over the past few days.

user pls

>Anything that's not all about straight people is tumblr.
Stop asking really stupid questions then.

Perfectly legitimate question. Fuck off with your "I'm so "progressive" and therefore far more intelligent than you" bullshit. It was the same thing yesterday with all that one user going on about "cis" and "trans".

If you don't put 7 teaspoons of brown sugar into your tea then you're NOT Irish.

You do it deliberately desu. You ignored my post answering your question and addressed his post insulting you.

No. You ask a really stupid question that should be common sense to even a primary school child. Then you come to your own conclusion and start speaking for the queer community like some sort of spokesperson.
You're either one or the other. Learn and understand or fuck off.

I get that it's for ignorant American tourists, thanks for the answer. I just didn't have anything further to say in that regard.

>Then you come to your own conclusion and start speaking for the queer community like some sort of spokesperson.
I what? I'm not a member of the "queer community".

>You ask a really stupid question that should be common sense to even a primary school child
If it's so stupid, then why weren't you able to answer it with ease?

>Learn and understand or fuck off.
Typical "progressive": "View the world through my lens or fuck off". Quite bigoted.

People who put sugar in their tea are less Irish than those who do not

>it's difficult to take a sport seriously when one team plays at home virtually all the time. It's a considerable advantage and never a level playing field.
They did change it so that Dublin play a couple of games every championship season outside of Dublin, but it's a token measure - most the fans won't travel for those games anyway.

Gaelic Football is in a pretty shitty place at the moment anyway. It needs serious reform.

>If it's so stupid, then why weren't you able to answer it with ease?
It was answered with ease but you still came to your own conclusion you had in your head before even asking your loaded question.
Everyone and their dog knows why there's pride days but you seem to struggle with it.
I'm actually suspecting you are quite new to all of this and the internet, or even going outside. What kind of bubble have you been living in up until this stage?

Should ban the handpass.

>Putting sugar in tea
By the time you put enough in that changes the taste you've already crossed the limit, what's the point?

>Everyone and their dog knows why there's pride days but you seem to struggle with it.
They made sense back when homosexual people were actively oppressed. But then we became the first country in the world to legalise gay marriage. What more do they want?

>What kind of bubble have you been living in up until this stage?
Well /éire/ was never a place where Pride was relevant in the past, nor the discussion of tumblr terms. The fact that you think otherwise shows just how new you are.

Struggling to get an erection lately.

>But then we became the first country in the world to legalise gay marriage. What more do they want?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Just hang yourself.

Very token, an opening round game against no hopers and this year it wasn't even away, just a neutral venue. GAA are too money hungry to ever let them play a big game away from Croker, unfortunately.

>Gaelic Football is in a pretty shitty place at the moment anyway. It needs serious reform.
Yep, I'd like the provincial structure to be scrapped in favour of a champions league style group to at least mix up the provinces instead of the same stale matchups every year. Even then there is a big gulf emerging between a small number of teams and the rest that will be difficult to deal with.

>HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Just hang yourself.
Another fantastic and thorough answer to a question. Truly you are the master of online debates.

>master
Did you just assume their gender?

>I'd like the provincial structure to be scrapped in favour of a champions league style group
I feel like the move towards group tables will be to the detriment of weaker counties.
We all love when an underdog wins and upsets the favourites, but a group system will make that more unlikely to happen as they would have to cause multiple upsets to progress.

>They made sense back when homosexual people were actively oppressed
They march for those who cannot, there are still countries where homosexuality is illegal or seen as a source of shame.
You can see the sort of impact the flag and the idea of being proud and open of being gay has had on these people in Uganda, a country where it is traditionally forbidden and actively oppressed.

Yes.

>They march for those who cannot,
I didn't get that impression from the footage of the parade I saw on the news and elsewhere. Just seemed like an excuse to have a sexually-charged party on the streets of Dublin.

Might download Grindr.
> Just seemed like an excuse to have a sexually-charged party on the streets of Dublin.
It is. They shouldn't be encouraged.

Potentially although those sort of upsets usually wind up with the underdog getting slaughtered embarrassingly in the next round. No underdog in recent times has ever posed a serious threat at actually winning Sam. I like the idea of a group since it could blend styles a lot more rathers than focusing on the same overplayed rivalries. Qualifier games are usually less easy to predict than provincial games since teams are less familiar with one another, hopefully there'd be an element of that.
Though regardless of format we'd still wind up with the likes of Dublin, Mayo, Kerry, Tyrone, Donegal at the end.

>Might download Grindr.
For catfishing?

Not attracted to fish. Sorry.

>he's not into Dolphin porn
Normies out!

>I didn't get that impression from the footage of the parade I saw on the news and elsewhere. Just seemed like an excuse to have a sexually-charged party on the streets of Dublin.
That's how pride is shown, it's a celebration of who you are. I don't know about sexually charged, a large portion of the attendees are children. It's very much a family event where people clap, cheer and take photos. You can buy balloons or snacks or whatever from street stalls, I think they had face painting and stuff like that for kids as well. It's not much different in atmosphere to a Patricks Day parade.

Is sex with a dolphin actually permissible since they're so intelligent?

>Dolphin porn
You just reminded me of a website I saw as a child in the early 00's that I had thankfully managed to completely forget about it. It was some sort of blog about a man who felt an intimate connection with a dolphin, complete with graphic details and photos. Used to get posted around for shock value.

Just remembered that Dolphins are mammals and therefore would not be in the "Fish" category on most porn websites.

The concepts of Love and Sex define the Pride movement, so claiming that sex isn't a tangible element of a pride parade is disingenuous.

Only one way to find out.

All I remember is that documentary about the guy who had a sexual relationship with his (really shit) car.

Sexuality is but I didn't see anything I'd have considered sexual or not suitable for children. Unless you consider skimpily dressed people to be aggressively sexual or something.

What do you mean? It isn't legal to have sex with any animal apart from humans.

>A number of non-human animals, including the great apes, cetaceans (i.e. dolphins and whales), elephants, and parrots, exhibit characteristics and tendencies consistent with that of a person's traits like self-awareness, intentionality, creativity, symbolic communication, and many others.

ieet.org/index.php/IEET2/RNHP

I know that. I mean morally since the relationship can't be deemed to be exploitative.

>Tfw no funghi bf

Remember that episode of the Simpsons where the dolphins take over the land. Think we should strike first lads.

I'm not sure what the age comparison is with Dolphins but I know that Chimps are said to be comparable in intelligence with a 3 year old human so even if Dolphins were similar to a 9/10 year old human it'd still be deemed exploitative since they have intelligence comparable to a child rather than an adult.

Nuke the Whales?

>Not betraying the humans and allying with the Dolphins

What's he planning lads?

Always knew you were a race traitor.

>user's life after betraying the human race to the Dolphins
youtu.be/EilnpJtP7Tw

a cheeky shag

Is there even anything in County Limerick aside from the city?

Adare and Newcastle West, it's a very rural county outside the city.

>The dolphin is a voluntary breather, even during sleep, with the result that veterinary anaesthesia of dolphins is impossible, as it would result in asphyxiation.

Wow, never knew that.

>very rural county outside the city
Just how I like it.
Also don't forget about Rathkeale. Great bunch of lads.

>If a dolphin lost the will to live they would be dead within in minutes

Oh we used to go on holidays to Newcastle West when I was a child. Don't know anything about Adare.

>Don't know anything about Adare
You're better off. It's full of Protestants.

I know a girl who did catering for JP's big party in the Manor in 2015. Had some very interesting stories to tell about how our elite behaved in there.

Go on.

>how our elite behaved in there
Don't like the sounds of this. Is a purging needed?

I also have some stories about how our "elite" behave. Mainly some big business men and people involved with the horse racing industry, oh and a big hurler.
But I can't say who because I'd rather keep my anonymity.

Hint: They're all shithead scumbags that should be in jail.

>I can't say who because I'd rather keep my anonymity
Can you tell us what they did? Don't have to give names.

The funniest was she said Varadkar was really rude. That he kept reaching over the bar to pour his own pints, when he was asked to stop he said he was "just checking the taps were working" before proceeding to laugh with his buddies at the staff.

She said Enda Kenny, Michael Noonan and Denis O'Brien were glued together all night and appeared to be best buddies. Unlike other guests they had personal security with them so staff weren't allowed within close proximity to them without their security alerting them first so nothing of their conversations could be overheard. It's interesting since DOB was being investigated for tax evasion at the time and was of course part of the infamous mobile phone license from Lowry when he was part of FG.

Robbie Williams also acted inappropriately to multiple female staff members and had to be asked to stop slapping them on the arse.

A race course I believe

One very big business man uses his company as a cartel and uses really dirty tactics, threatens other companies and people etc.
Locally he's known to have a really short temper and threatens and tries to boss everyone around. He's also known to have hit his wife in public, and also his daughters. Rumour is he sexually assaulted one of his daughters too while drunk.
But nobody will speak out or stand up to him because of his status. Everyone just pretends he's a respected character and the local FF politicians suck up to him.
If he ever gave me any attitude I'd love to fucking headbutt the prick but I don't mix with this inbred community at all. Hate the place.

The hurler is a little knacker. Again would just act like a cunt all round. Used to come into the pub on a friday and get really drunk, start fights with people or just go around knocking pints over. Everyone would just pretend it's all great craic because of who he is.

A lot of GAA players seem to be like that, I know a lad in Kerry who said tadhg kennelly was a complete gobshite on nights out and demanded to be treated like a celebrity and given special treatment.

>Robbie Williams also acted inappropriately to multiple female staff members and had to be asked to stop slapping them on the arse.
What a cunt.

>and had to be asked to stop slapping them on the arse.
Top lad.

How long until GAA starts paying their players?

Sundays are so boring.

Hopefully never. It would be the end of the sport as we know it.

Agreed. There's just a miserable atmosphere all around and there's nothing interesting to do or watch.

Play vidya.

I don't play video games in the middle of the day because the brightness fucks up my monitor/TV.

Close your curtains then.

It's not great at the moment as it is.

I'm sure the traditionalists would spit out their guinness in horror at the suggestion but something could be said for an American style draft system between the counties along with a wage cap.

>but something could be said for an American style draft system between the counties along with a wage cap.
>copying anything about American sport
