My whole fucking school had those when I was 13, including me. Black and white master race reppin.

loook at this bourgeois scum

I had this exact color scheme!

>that kid who had golden total 90's and always wanted to dribble the opponents instead of passing
>would always lose the ball and not apologize
>complained if team mates didn't pass to him

cacheiro de merda

>that kid who had red/white total 90's and always thought he could play the right football
>would always be pussy and stay away from physical contact
>complained on chinese forums about alpha leaders

Me. Had them in those colours as well.

I bought this excat pair cause Zambrotta had them

I really loved playing. I would play injured, play in snow, play alone, play with older kids (which was tough, because foul on me = no foul).
I always hummed the "Premier league theme" to myself and dreamt that some mediocre english club will discover me and I can play in one of them stadiums in tv, like fucking Barnet Road, Stadium of Light, St. James Park or whatever.

I had a blue and white pair with the logo instead of the 90
Will post pic asap

GOAT
and you cant prove me wrong

fuck off, André

you knew you sucked and would never be the next Quaresma

>le good passer and solid engine midfield man boots

I also found these today, this memories lead me to make this thread.
Luckily my foot is still the size I had 13 y.o., maybe then these were a little big to me, but still good, now I buy a mercurial and it's gone in 1-2 years.
the good thing was that my team had also black-yellow jersey, so it would completely match

Holy shit you have bitch feet

I still have my predators.

Survived 3 pairs of vapors and 1 pair of tempo.

ITT: people buying vapors
Rich or just stupid?

yes i had them in the meme silver

How much concussion you want fám?

GOAT

delete this

My brother had to be hospitalized after playing a match with one those lmao

Pic related were the first pair of boots I had when I became a striker.
Also, story time:
>be me, 7 years old
>get into first team as a goalkeeper cause my dad was one
>stay for two years
>team dissolves
>play football at school on cement playground even though it was allowed because I'm the leader and everyone does what I say
>friends mom is a volunteer "playground monitor"
>begs me to come play for her husbands team
>say I just do it for fun
>middle school
>finally say yes to my friends proposition
>score two goals on debut, one with each foot, lose 2-3
>dad is proud
>become best player and top scorer in season one
>get called up to play with the league's best players score
>played for 3 years with team
>move to club
>continue to do well and now in highschool
>collect pins, medals, trophies, and best player plaques.
>dad takes me to play with his friends cause they want to see me
>become leader of team despite being half their age
>football is over after 18, and stuck playing sunday league cause I realized I wasn't gonna make it.
I sometimes wonder if I wasn't good enough, I didn't try hard enough, or both. I love this sport, tbhonesto lads.

I feel you, man.

I'm now in my mid twenties.

what are you slow centre back copa mundial man or whiny winger vapor man

only poorfags use nike

I had total 90 IIs. Great boot.

I did and I loved them

>tfw all your boots ended up like this

i had one like these

I had these, but I was a defender.

>that guy who would make us all wait while he put on his cleats

some people take this divegrass way too seriously

>le head down and lashes it over the bar man boots

There is none other than adidas predators from the mid nineties

Unironically bought these because of Zidane. Also somehow ended up on the wing

For me, it's adipure

I had these. Once scored five goals in one game with them, one being a tap-in I stole from a teammate as the ball was going in. I remember the colour would sometimes look really different depending on the sunlight during early mornings when we played our games.

Wish I could go back to those days.

If you had anything other than these you're a poof

You may not like it, but this is what peak performance looks like.

Had those and hated them, dunno what it was. First and last pair of Nikes desu.

Unironically the GOAT. Nothing fancy, just allowed you to get your shit done.

i used to think they were called 'toe 90s'

this is why you were "that weird kid"

>tap-in I stole
Those are certainly the kicks for it desu

Lol these shoes look gay

>wearing nike or adidas as a kid
spotted the spoiled kid who was shit at the sport

everyone had total 90s or copa mundials when I was at primary school

t. posh poofter

nah, state school in a middle income area

where I'm from the rich kids played hockey or rugby

From all the shoes I had my favorites were the blue total 90 and the hypervenom phantom fg green

>2006 World Cup Edition

youtube.com/watch?v=Jkm86AfI48I

Those commercials were fucking bomb.

How did you know?

boys, big question

what's the best modern/current boot which has that mid-2000s feeling a la preds and total 90s?

you'd see plenty of kids wearing nike or adidas sportswear in my public middle school

but this was earlier than 2006, before the crisis had hit us hard, don't know how it looks like today

nah, even working class lads can wear nike and adidas, such is life in the west

The REAL question is lads: ARE YOU PLAYING FOOTBALL RIGHT NOW? IF NOT, WHY?

no friends to play

I found them

I used to be a copa purist for ages but the fit is seriously sloppy compared to modern leather boots

dude the cheapest versions of adidas and nike boots are like 20 euro/gbp/usd

>tfw best boots in football are getting a 2017 remake

Spent hours pretending to be Del Piero or Beckham curling one into the top corner

>Le set piece specialist boots

>tfw every time wanting a new pair of boots you had to listen to your dad harp on about how in his day 1 set of Puma Kings would last you a lifetime

>le slip on sand footy

le hard working and not flashy player boots

priviledged europeans

that's one reason argentina is better than your national teams, you are a bunch of faggots

>tfw almost everyone at your school had Predators, but a different colour scheme
>spend ages comparing boots and everyone is happy because all Preds are quality boots
>laughing at Nike scum
Good times

my nigger

Knee injury, but trying to make it to the autumn round of third division.

That sucks, a wall is your friend man. Practice that first touch.

That sucks also, I'm recovering myself from ACL reconstruction, have to settle with coaching for now. All the best on your recovery!

>I'm recovering myself from ACL reconstruction

We have the sames. I was operated over a year ago and I still don't feel 100%.

Vittu. Had mine in December, I know it will take time, it may never be 100% again but i'm working on the rehab. Keep training!

...

what did it feel like when it tore?
what's the rehab timeline and why is it so long?
is there any preventative?
my friend snapped his, never got the surgery and now has a limp. but he's a powerlifter.

This was the best timeline for football wear ever.

I was that kid with the umbro/sondico boots

holy shit it wasn't just me.
i never ever dreamt about Barcelonas or your Real Madrids.

I was just dreaming of being pro, playing at basically any club but always wanted to play for relegation tier clubs

>what did it feel like when it tore?
Snapping sensation in the knee and then horrible pain for a minute or so.

>what's the rehab timeline and why is it so long?
The rehab timeline depends on your knee structure and the level where you are playing. Since I am not a professional, the doctor heavily recommended that I take a complete year off.

>is there any preventative?
Strong muscles that prevent overextension and not being genetically predisposed to them.

adike and elviton were the shit back then

that was me playing basketball by myself
dreaming the shot clock was counting down
shooting to win the final 4
but then i remembered i was a short white kid in america who didn't make the high school team cause i was the wrong color.

i appreciate the reply. may your nation remain free and terrifying to invaders. the world knows your story.

You can hear it snapping once it happens.

I'm guessing the rehab is long because you want to give the graft time to grow into the bone and strenghten your muscles enough to minimize the chance of a repeated tear.

Yes, dont do contact sports or any that require twisting and turning of your legs. Avoid walking and standing up as well.

Lifting without an acl isnt a big deal

uni is not helping and it's hard to arrange a footy time with friends. this semester we do not even participate in our usual futsal championship.

also it's fucking depressing that I had my prime 15-18 y.o., now I'm slow, beer bellied and choker version of former myself.

>Caring about whether your boots are Nike or Adidas
Sure is millennial in here

Get on my level, faggots.

The GOAT futsal boots.

>What did it feel like when it tore?

When I tore mine there was a loud pop, strangely enough I didn't much of it at the time until I tried to run again during the same football match. I knew something was up as the knee was super unstable. Went to the doctors that same day and got a check up (no mri) and they suggested it was torn cartilage. No massive amounts pain or anything until 2 days later when my knee was swollen like mad. Stiffness for about 2 weeks.

>What's the rehab timeline and why is it so long?

For me its hard to say as the doctors were wrong about the initial check up in 2015 and I had already spent a year rehabbing what we thought was a torn cartilage. Once I got the MRI the operation happened, and I was told rehab would take about 6 months minimum. I had a few setbacks so I don't expect to return to football for another 3 months or so.

The rehab is long because of the type of injury it is, from what I have been told, that particular area of the body doesn't get much blood flow through it so recovery is long. Plus because you have your leg up, inactive for a while, so you have to remind the muscle groups how to work and strengthen them back up.

>Is there any preventative?

Strengthen those legs muscles man and make sure you have appropriate footwear for what you are doing. Tore my ACL on astro turf, i'm sure it was because I had FG boots on.

But sometimes you can just get injured via external forces.

A challenger appears

Me too, man. It sucks to see younger players are in the big clubs in Europe. I do want it too

just played my first "league" campaign since i was 16.

you didn't try hard enough. same thing with me

I had a pair for about 8 years
>never actually fit quite right because I have deformed, ultra-wide feet
>kept gluing them back together when they burst open
>the glue held and I'd keep using them
I don't think that's how they were meant to work, but most pairs I've had are fucked the first time they blow out. the copas were real fighters

they were too expensive

I had the gaudy neon blue and green ones from 2009-2010. It was the cheap ines that took 3 years to break in

Why didn't you play college ball? You would've gotten scouted to at least the MLS.

I used these for turf fields, I once went turbo mode and scored 5 goals in a match.

> Iniesta fanboy
> immediately positions himself as CAM
> gets mad when you don't score after passing you an accurate through ball
> slow dribbler but good control
> whenever he takes free kicks it's always a curved shot
> me

What boots are we rocking these days lads?

Bought these last week. Calf skin leather. Prefer kangaroo leather but these are still legit.

Pred X were the best. Still have a pair.

>tfw you will never ride in the back seat of your dads car reading match magazine while eating a double decker after getting new boots.

>tfw you will never have massive pickup games with all of your cousins and uncles again

>tfw you will never play those pickup games on warm summer days with all of your schoolmates without a care in the world.

le curler in le top left corner

I use these, they are not bad, though I had better shoes before
