Is the the greatest 8 album streak of all time?
Is the the greatest 8 album streak of all time?
Yes.
Yes.
Sorry to burst your bubble, OP
Okay Grandpa
Rather a cool, correct grandpa than an incorrect, hick dad
also relevant

>Station To Station
>Low
>”Heroes”
>Lodger
>Scary Monsters (And Super Creeps)
>Let’s Dance
If you start from niandra lades and skip smile from the streets you hold (which was hardly ever released) I would say Frusciante but Bruce is very solid yes
Springsteen wasn't a hick, Dylan was closer to hick than Bruce ever was
Half of those are shit though
>YOU BEEN HURT AND YOU'RE ALL CRIED OUT YOU SAY
>YOU WALK DOWN THE STREET PUSHIN' PEOPLE OUTTA YOUR WAY

All of Bruce's best songs sound 10x better on his live albums
>4th of July
>Thunder Road
>Jungleland
>Racing In The Street
>Roaslita
>Backstreets
Prove me wrong
I find his live concerts to be pretty bad, the only song I think is improved live is Cadillac Ranch.
Hell yeah. He had like three other great records before that with his second quintet. Nobody has more good records than Miles Davis.
He's not so good nowadays but the album from the Hammersmith Odeon in '75 is really something else.
Rain Dogs
Frank's Wild Years
Bone Machine
The Black Rider
Mule Variations
Blood Money
Alice
Real Gone
>all these literal no names
lmao
>Tom Waits
>No name
What?
I'll have to give that a try. I do like his 80 concert in Tempe.
I just find that a lot of the songs become very stodgy and lacking in the sprightliness that the studio performances possess.
i also prefer the studio versions of his songs generally but watching him perform is typically a fantastic performance. i;ve never actually seen him live but all the youtube clips ive seen he just completely owns the music, and he and the e street band are renowned for being some of the best live rock performers around
>Unknown Pleasures
>Closer
>Movement
>Power, Corruption & Lies
>Low-Life
>Brotherhood
>Technique
>Republic
The most influential discography on rock, pop and electronic since Kraftwerk
I have always wanted to see him live in the flesh simply due to his energy and perhaps there is something in the live experience that the audio cannot capture.
A shame the E Street Band has lost some of its big names like Clarence
>bowie
>no name
Shouldn't you be gorging kanye's dick right now?
>forgetting live in pompeii
...
thunder road only
...
This original album is as good as Born to Run and Darkness. Bruce should have left it alone.
Meet Me In The City is a 10/10 track
If Synchronicity was a little better, they would have a completely 10/10 discography.
true but there's some amazing songs on the river that aren't on the ties that bind like sherry darling, jackson cage and fade away to name a few
>missing the rising and ghost
so is Be True
unironically king gizz

devils and dust is actually pretty decent
