Senile seniors who live off of social security checks and have their affairs managed by a caseworker were the only ones affected, and they're too poor to buy guns. If they bought guns before while they had their cognisance and job then they get to keep them and let your cousins inherit them (fuck you grandpa, see you in hell).

>who live off of social security checks
you mean the checks they paid into for 50+ years?
>have their affairs managed by a caseworker
maybe their kids are shit and they just needed some help
>fuck you grandpa, see you in hell
found the shitty grandson

Wow Giddy, it was a little tounge-in-cheek, but I have no problem with senile seniors not being allowed to buy guns.

If they can't be trusted to manage their own affairs, they don't get trusted with buying more guns. Don't like it? Then don't be dependent on social security like it's was designed to be your only source of income at that age.

SHALL

NOT

Actually the 'militia' clause means white males from ages 17 to 45

I think it's bullshit but technically this is for people over those ages

>The Constitution only applies to whoever I randomly decide it does

t. Obama

BE

and the fine print at the bottom of the Constitution says: without due process of law

Being found too insane to handle your affairs by a court is said due process of law.

No it doesn't.

The Constitution never even originally said who was allowed to vote or not, most states had only land owners being allowed to vote.

INFRINGED

I'm a social security recipient, I wrote to them on the federal register and explained that since I get SSI for disability I could become disqualified and they would be circumventing my rights to due process.

I don't think they'll do it in the end, it's gotten such negative backlash.

INFRINGED

Does it say "the right of the militia to keep and bear arms? No, it say's the right of the "PEOPLE" until and unless you can redefine the words people, arms, keep or bear, or get a 2/3rds majority to remove them from the constitution, you have no right to take them from people. Go back to your rainy socialist utopia eurocuck.

Listen here you little shit. I hate giddy as much as the next user here, but he's got a point. This does not only affect the recipients from buying guns, but confiscation is also there. I'm 33 with X amount of guns. When I'm old and senile, all those guns are to be stolen by the state. Guns I purchased decades before I accepted my first SS check.

What disability do you have?

Autism

>Then don't be dependent on social security
>don't be dependent on the money that the government stole from you and is giving you back, one drop at a time.

btw, mine was tongue in cheek too.

>Then don't be dependent on social security like it's was designed to be your only source of income at that age.

This cannot seriously be your opinion.

>you mean the checks they paid into for 50+ years?
Nobody ever paid a penny into their Social Security check. You pay taxes that pay the current recipients. You sound like a dumbass when you phrase it that way. Then again, you are a tripfag.

Nothing much is going to come of it. Kids will have all the guns before the fogies get to that point anyhow. It's one of those "makes us liberals feel good and probably gets two guns a decade away from the plebeians" deals.

>won't affect me anyhow
>won't get SS, I'm a teacher

>Then don't be dependent on social security like it's was designed to be your only source of income at that age.
If you can spot the grammatical and/or historical errors, thank a teacher. If you can't, an hero.

>Then don't be dependent on social security like it's was designed to be your only source of income at that age.
It literally is you tard, unless you spend 20+ years in the military or work directly for the government, there's almost no such thing as a real retirement these days. You have your 401k and social security plus whatever you saved on the side.

ITT: Anti American SUMFUCKS

>Then don't be dependent on social security like it's was designed to be your only source of income at that age.

That is exactly what that system is designed for
You can't be this stupid

>That is exactly what that system is designed for
Bullshit. Learn a little history.

"We can never insure one hundred percent of the population against one hundred percent of the hazards and vicissitudes of life, but we have tried to frame a law which will give some measure of protection to the average citizen and to his family against the loss of a job and against poverty-ridden old age."--
President Roosevelt upon signing Social Security Act

And this would serve to curb gun violence how?

OMG I CAN'T EVEN DON'T YOU THINK ABOUT THE CHILLUNS!?!?!?1!

I totally need to get xanax now I"m like so stressed out this comment triggered my PTSD so much.

it wouldn't do shit, it's just more bullshit with the purpose of eroding our rights slowly over time.

That feel when none of my fucking retarded dead grandparents owned any guns and neither do my parents and I seem to be the only intelligent free armed independent self reliant one in my family.

Fuck you Gam Gams and Pappy. RIP in peace you noguns unarmed slaves and subjects.

None of you shits ever took me to shoot. I had to learn to shoot from Uncle Sam in basic training (shot expert first time shooting a gun in my life. I had such a shit eating grin that day I will never forget it.)

it doesn't, it's about disarming as many Americans as they can.

That's not the point and we all know it.

Wait, it didn't pass did it?

You have like 3 weeks to voice your opinion to the Social Security administration

...

>SSA-2016-0011

>you mean the checks they paid into for 50+ years?
This is such a fundamentally wrong statement its legitimately depressing to read.

No it isn't

they're not the most entitled generation ever no reason

>old man jenkins wants to buy a shotgun
>denied

>jamal wants to trade his welfare for drugs
>dindu nuffin

If you are so old you need government assistance to survive you need to give up some rights.
You are too weak to use or service a firearm, you loose that right.
You need funding to pay for things to survive? You lose your 2nd amendment,
It's that simple.

>they would be circumventing my rights to due process.
Hmm, not necessarily. If you're on SSI for a mental disability then it could be argued that you've already been adjudicated as mentally unfit, since your disability has been validated by the fed so you get SSI.

I approve of this message.

It could, but thats not what they are doing, it applies if you receive benefits for a mental health issue, AND receive benefits through a representative payee

AND it applies on a prospective basis, going forward it will be in effect, if you do not collect benefits anymore, or no longer have a payee, it will not apply to you.

Why the second amendment, I would much rather they lose voting rights.
>Take government assistance
>Lose voting rights so you can't just vote to increase government assistance

Boomers and welfare recipients getting out of political processes can only improve things.

Funding to pay for things like an education or a mortgage?

And if you're too poor to pay for your wisdom teeth removal out of pocket your probably cant afford anything worth defending, so you don't have a right to have a firearm.

Ditch the autism bucks or give up the funs, the chaws is yaws.

>AND receive benefits through a representative payee
Can you source this part? Just because I'm going through the process of getting SSI, and would like to have that saved.

Hopefully Hillary wins so we remove the ability for the poor and uneducated to own firearms.

...

There is no social security gun ban. Unless you're mentally disabled and not in control of your own finances. In which case, you probably aren't buying guns anyway.

>More than 20% of Americans shouldn't be allowed to vote

>probably cant afford anything worth defending
>My life isn't worth defending

>so you don't have a right to have a firearm.
>Because I'm poor I don't have the right to guns

What the fuck is all this shit

Oh I see, thank you!

>Autists can't buy anymore mosins

This great news.

>>Take government assistance
You do realize that there's no financial difference between EIC in your tax filings and Social Security, right? Are you saying that you don't claim any tax exemptions and never take your refund?

>like it's was designed to be your only source of income at that age.
>"...and against poverty-ridden old age"

>so you don't have a right to have a firearm.

>imposing a class-based legal system to benefit one group of people over another
>1776+240

>Acknowledging it'll never work 100%
>Somehow saying the SSA isn't meant to try to do so

People can voice their opinions to SSA for the next three weeks but the law will not being going through for a while, SSA claims on it's blog that it will be after the election.

Private pile you fat sack of shit.

For 3 dollars i get some sisa and off to somewhere
