Post your top tens of 2016 lads

Post your top tens of 2016 lads.

Is 13 Hours purely a meme? I know we're in a post-truth society lads, but be sincere with me for once.

There hasn't even been 5 good movies in 2016

>watching currenlty released movies
>being a /lbg/ faggot

I love the crisp lighting.

Also it turned to make a difference.

i enjoyed it. saw in theaters once. wouldn't mind seeing it again.

I've only seen two of those. Green Room and 10 Cloverfield. I like them both a lot. I really need to have a 2016 marathon before the end of the year.

In your opinion.
13 Hours is fucking unexpected kino. Bays best movie.
I know this year has not been perfect but there were some amazing gems this year.

I've had The Witch and Hell or High Water ready to go for a while, I just haven't gotten around to it. Definitely want to see Arrival before it drops out of theatres.

I only watched and liked Nice Guys this year

I loved 10 Cloverfield Lane but I have to say it didn't hold up on a second viewing

I have to disagree when I watched it with my dad the second time I still loved it.
Do completely understand why it wouldn't hold up for people tho.

Nice Guys was great too.

Highly recommend watching Arrival in theatres. Kinda surprised they never released it in IMAX.

>2015 movies
You first

Some of the movies were shown in festivals in 2015 but never got released until 2016.

>he goes by IMDB release dates

Hadn't even heard of The Girl With All The Gifts till your post OP, holy shit it look actually good. How did this fly under my radar??
Thanks man!

I think it only came out in the UK.
It's outstanding it's the best zombie movie since 28 days later imo.

>I know we're in a post-truth society lads, but be sincere with me for once.

Are you one of the Hill shills that went on and on how there weren't terrorist attacks when literally the operators in there have come out and said it was a terrorist attack and Hill Shit got caught lying (she knew it was terror attack)

Go die in a fucking fire retarded faggot

^ this

my top 10 in order

This guy knows

How is it you simultaneously have good taste and fucking terrible taste?

I'm pissed cus I have to wait till January for La La Land.
Good thing about being in the UK tho is that we don't have a shit start of the year like the US we normally get all the oscar movies.
No fuck you its January here.

>2016
>having a top ten
this year is proper shite

Watched it at AFI, it's pretty fantastic, easily the best modern musical

In your opinion.
There was a lot of shit this year but I avoided them.

>The plot depicts a dystopian future following a breakdown of society after most of humanity is wiped out by a fungal infection and focuses upon the struggle of a scientist, a teacher and two soldiers who embark on a journey of survival with a special young girl named Melanie.
So how much did it rip off the Last of Us?

Nice I'm hyped for it.
I know that weekend is busy as shit as Live By Night, Manchester By the Sea and that.

>all of that anti-white, anti-christian propaganda

This.
I don't think I even watched 10 films that were released this year.

>The Innocents
>oy vey 6 gorillion
>pregnant nuns
>Christianity is a sham
>white people are hypocrits
Looks like shit, desu

>pregnant nuns
>not hot as shit

how'd you see nocturnal animals already?

only 5

ITT: the front page of Letterboxd

You guys are such fucking drones

Here's the correct list:

1. Moonlight
2. Manchester by the Sea
3. La La Land
4. Hacksaw Ridge
5. Arrival
6. Nocturnal Animals
7. The Handmaiden
8. Captain Fantastic
9. Hell or High Water
10. Aquarius

Post your top ten, enlightened one. I want to see what a true patrician can do.

Everything I've seen this year was pretty forgetabble except for:
Three (To)
Love and Friendship (Stillman)
Toni Erdmann (Ade)
How to be Single (Ditter)
OJ: Made in America is also very good

Came out here in the UK early.

Are you a woman

I fucking wish

>(Stillman)

I liked Toni Erdmann. Fun movie.
