This is interesting. I'm not really a fan of this style, but i could picture someone who is really enjoying this track. I especially like the piano part. The ending part that starts around 16 minutes is nice too. Overall it seems fit for some sort of soundtrack.
Not really into this, it's pretty boring. You should really try adding different musical elements to your tracks to keep them fresh, like different timbres or melodic patterns.
Mixing is very muddled and unfocused. Songs themselves are pretty bland. You should really trying expanding your sonic palette, like using stereo panning for things. An example of how a style like this could work would be doing something like having a metal track with guitar, bass and drums on one side of the stereo image, and then having all the sound effects on the other side so you get better separation and a more interesting mix. I'm not gonna lie though, the Casio drums on the last track made me chuckle, so it's not all bad.
Damn this is good. I love the Lovecraft connections, they really fit the track well. I could easily hear this in a Lovecraftian (or general fantasy) film or game. Not much else to say, you're clearing on the right track.
The lo-fi sound doesn't lend well to this style of music. Are you really doing it on purpose, or do you really not know how to make decent quality recordings? If you want people to hear and appreciate your songwriting or performance, maybe you should actually let them hear it properly, otherwise it just seems really unprofessional and makes it look like you don't even give a shit about music. The songs that are higher quality are still pretty bland. The last track sounds like it could have potential though.
That's all i'm gonna do for now since this thread might die soon, might come back later.

Reccing this guy again:
This is really interesting. Really well crafted. The only thing I would say is that its too short. I'd like to hear more. Nice job though!
I want to hear a noise album with all those pedals
here
Thanks! I've been trying to avoid letting any ideas overstay their welcome but I do agree that it's too short.
This is pretty dope. Start reminds me of some of the production on DG - Fashion Week. Really like that kind of whiny synth that starts up at about a minute in and the variation in beats while keeping a pretty consistent sound going. Love the whole aesthetic too, especially the track names. Very early 90s indie cyberpunk/body horror cinema
1st track reminds me Micheal Cera's solo project in a nice way. Has that sort of nostalgic lo-fi vibe. Not a massive fan of dude on the second track's singing in that context but I could see it working in other types of songs.
Demo Hassan here. Thanks my dude. This is pretty much an overt attempt at making listeners uncomfortable (with both the audio and cover art), so body horror is spot on even though I never thought about it as a description lol. And the first track's vocal part is actually from an interview with a cyberpunk author. So there's that.
I agree on being wary of having ideas overstay their welcome. I suppose what I meant was that I would have liked to hear that track among a batch of other tracks as a release. Something to complete it and give it context.
Oh yeah, fair enough. I've been thinking about releasing stuff in batches like that but it's nice to have the satisfaction of just finishing a song and putting it out there, you know? I think I'll try putting out a few songs simultaneously during the winter break when I've got time to work on multiple tracks
Hadn't listened to the first track but that piqued my interest so I went ahead and gave the album a download. Keep doing what you're doing!
Yeah I feel that. Thanks for the love! You too!
