I haven't listened to anything past his 70s output, any recs?

I bet there is some good pop in here, any favorites
Sparks - kimono my house
++Ichiko Aoba
Colleen - a flame my love, a frequency
timber timbre - keep on creepin on
i can't get into new Bjork, should I keep trying? I usually love her output

I didn’t like it desu. It’s just on the top of my chart because I listened to it twice in hopes it’d grow on me, but it didn’t.

Is that new Baths any good?

hell yeah, i've been a fan of his for a long time now so I'm def biased but he made a great gay pop record with romaplasm with lyrics I can totally relate to which never happens with traditional hetero pop music

Most of it is new wave, but The Pleasure Principle was a good synth pop album. There's also Skylarking which unfortunately isn't the same as their earlier work, but regardless was still a nice American like pop album.

I'll try to give Sparks a listen to some time.

did you not like the direction they took with Skylarking? English Settlement is their best imo but Skylarking was great as well

Ewww that disgusting album at the end:(

I've listened to their first 3 albums and Skylarking so far. I don't mind pop, its just that I'm a huge new wave fan, and I really like their early works, so I felt like it was a bit too big of a step for me.

no idea why the Fugazi album isn't ahowin up
