Netflix is only 8 dollars a month... I guess that's okay

I have Netflix and HBO

20€ per month

Also playstationplus

Sometimes its fun to watch random things, squee fämäläm

>Cucked by a letter

Keep pirating.

>dad calls me into his office
>tells me he got an email from our ISP about pirating
>wait for the name of the tv show/film/game
>"LegalPorno - Lisa Blacked DP 5 Swallow New Girl Gets 5 Boys 4 The First Time"

lmao

get a VPN or switch to a different ISP that doesn't give a fuck

>2016
>downloading porn

I'll never get this when there is a sea of free sites of unlimited porn.

I'LL BE PUTTING YOU PIRATE BITCHES IN JAIL.

same thing happened to me but with my grandma, such titles as "My Wife Caught Me Assfucking Her Mother" and "Oh No! There's a Negro in my Daughter 2"

I've gotten 3 letters. 1 was for Banshee a day after I moved into my apartment and my Cinemax wasn't set up yet. The others were for MI Rogue Nation (which I never even watched) and an episode of Naruto which was filler and I deleted after 10 seconds. At least give me a letter for something I actually enjoyed and kept.

I'm used to it, I enjoy it, and I fucking hate tube sites.

>pirate for over a decade
>nearly every day
>get letter from ISP
>call them and tell them I want to cancel my services with them
>"May I ask what the reason is for this cancellation, sir?"
>tell them I got a letter in the mail and told them it felt like I wasn't valued as a customer
>got the manager on the line and he formally apologized, offering me a free month
>"I don't know if that's good enough..."
>get put on hold and the manager's manager picks up the phone
>he tells me the letters mean nothing, and that he himself pirates all the time and all such future letters addressed to me will not be sent out by them
>gives me 3 free months

You just have to be firm with these people and remind them that they need you more than you need them.

Why? There are places like eporner that stream free 1080p 60fps with about a hundred added daily with no advertisement (assuming you're using a blocker).

Sure it's mostly normalfag stuff, but if you aren't jaded enough for that I still don't understand why you feel the need to fill your harddrive with it.

Nice story, in real life, these ISPs dont give a shit because they hold a oligopoly and can fuck you over however much they want.

>8 dollars a month
I have a good VPN (private internet access) and it's only $40 a year ($3.33/month). I use it on my phone, too, so I can browse restricted shit like this site at work and school

Not him, but I've downloaded stuff before when I wanted the full movie and not just a seven minute clip. Does eporner stream the full movies?

>they hold a oligopoly

Only in the Land of the Free™

Well no, in my country there are quite a few big ISP that fight and bleed over each customer.

There's at least a dozen companies that want my sweet shekles.

>in real life
I've worked for one of those and I don't doubt the OP's story because we would routinely comp people to keep their business. It's cheaper to do that than to sign up someone new. We had a limit on how much and how often we could do it, of course, but there are plenty of customers who got discounted or even free service just for the cost of a complaint

>Netflix is only 8 dollars a month
I'd gladly pay 5 times this if they actually had a goddamn good selection. Most of what I want to watch isn't there, so why bother?

Wrong, I've had many experiences like maybe it's a Europe/UK thing? I hear bad stories about American companies like Verizon/Comcast/etc treating you like shit, but it's not the same over here.

>switch to a different ISP
Not everyone lives in a city where they have multiple ISPs

>already have netflix and hulu plus
>still pirate for years now everything not on there
>fucked up once when friend left eastbound and down on my torrent list and it actually seeded
>got a letter from comcast about it
>moved to new house
>turn off seeds
>have been fine since

it's just like drugs as long as you aren't a drug seller (uploader) they aren't going to bother with drug users (leecher)

I don't think so, no. You could check it out? One of the biggest faults I have with it is that they name all their own videos. Like "Cute blond takes it up the ass for 7 dollars".

And what this means is that unless you happen to remember that phrase (you won't) the chance of you ever finding that clip again are quite low.

The videos also have a mediocre porn start tagging-system, meaning if you want more of a certain actress you might be shit out of luck.

This.

I tried to squeeze a free month out of my provider and they straight up told me that they could see they were the only service provider in my area. Really shut me down hard.

Funnily enough, torrenting and downloading in Norway is technically not illegal. Not even of copyrighted content.

It's sharing and seeding that's illegal.

>Pay with gift card
What the fucking fuck?! You can pay for this shit with a Starbucks fucking gift card? Lol

Can I ask where people like you guys live? I've lived quite a few places in Europe and I've never had the problem of only one internet provider wanting to such my dick.

It's the same here.

I only find it worthwhile for Netflix Originals that they do, such as House of Cards, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Marco Polo, Narcos and Stranger Things. They've also got Rome (from HBO) and a few other shows (Breaking Bad) but once you've gotten through them all, you have to wait months for something new to come around.

Do you get good torrent speeds with PIA? I get fine speeds on DDL but on torrents I get absolute shit.

> restricted shit like this site at work and school

AND THE HOME OF THE FREE

yeah, it's pretty good. My average speed with my ISP is 20 Mbps, with PIA running it's almost the same (18-19 Mbps). i just tested it and i'm on their New York City server (about 2,000 miles away from me) and I got 19.5 Mbps

>private work
>private college
nice try, eurocuck

>normalfag stuff
and therein lies the problem. I am very picky when it comes to porn, and I also hate short clips that aren't even 10 minutes long. Fuck tube sites

So much more convenient to download exactly what I want when I want, then keep it on an external for the future. I also enjoy the anticipation of porn downloading and then coming back to my computer see I have several new videos to fap to.

I throw my letters away without opening them because I know they can only be bad news

It depends on what it is.
>New?
Chance for a letter goes up to 5%.
>American?
Chance for letter goes up by 50%.
>Disney/Pixar?
Expect a letter.

I use spankbang and they usually have full vids of the newest pornos. Only thing is they usually get taken down after a week or so, then re-uploaded when people forget about it lel. Best streaming site imo.

This, you can save money on a slower connection if you are using a vpn. No letters, no data caps, less money out of pocket.

>pirate so hard I actually feel bad

>no data caps
how do you think that works? your connection starts with the ISP, connects to the VPN server, is encrypted, and then routes back through the ISP to you. they can't see what you're viewing, but they can still see how much data you're transmitting

>data caps

2016 boys. 2016.

My alma mater had 5 gig/month data caps in residence. Back in 2003 I'm sure that was fine, but they had that crap until at least 2013, if not present day.

>5 gigs
that's about six or seven yify movies a month. what's wrong with that?

Can't you only get in trouble if you upload pirated material? Downloading is fine if you can say you didn't know it was pirated shit.

>use PTP
>use BTN

>no letters, no nothing, ever

Yo serious question here for the pirates.

One of the main reasons I'm a buyfag is because I worked out early on that if everyone pirated everything, there wouldn't be revenue for content creators. And no one will advertise on tv if they know that people won't see the ads when they pirate stuff later. So if you know that if everyone pirated there wouldn't be any new content, what then? Do you just keep pirating and hope enough buy fags exist to prop the industries up?

Seems to me that as people get more tech savvy you'll see more piracy since it's free and easy and eventually the balance of pirates to buyers will go the wrong way and then there's much less content and studios will increasingly go with the safe but shit content.

cuck

by that logic uploading should be fine if you claim you didn't know it was pirated ("i downloaded it and then seeded it, but i didn't know")

I buy what I choose to support

it's in no way the moral "right" but its marginally better than supporting NOTHING

Used public trackers for 15 years. Never a letter or anything...

You do more with your bandwidth than JUST download movies, fool.

>office

>tfw your mom works for the company that is the internet provider, and she would get fired if anything is pirated on it
>tfw i pay 90 dollars a month for streaming sites

I pirate things I already own, or 30 year old movies which have already made their money. I'll pirate new stuff, and if it's good enough I'll buy it to get special features. It's like seeing a jpg of a great painting as opposed to seeing it in person with the artist there to tell you about it.

Don't reply to me ever again unless you're responding to my thread properly

This makes sense I guess.

Yes. As I do not live in a 2 bedroom apartment, my father has an office.

i never download anything anymore. last time i did was probably 4 years ago.
nowadays i find virtually anything can be found by typing "name of movie" followed by "putlocker". i've probably watched at least 300 movies on there/tv series.

am in UK, have never gotten a letter.
does anyone else find it staggering how easy it is to do this? i feel like we're experiencing the golden age right now of streaming easiness.

i watch alot of simpsons too, and you only need to type the name of the episode into google, and the second link is a stream of it.

the only time i've ever been genuinely worried was dl'ing cs master suite, having read a few horro stories about adobe suing the ass off people, but obv nothing happened.

cuck

Not everyone pirates though so I don't fucking give a shit.

What?

>as people get more tech savvy
when? and how? people know less about technology today while using it more than people from twenty years ago. consumer technology is so dumbed down and simple to use that everyone uses it all time time, but they're mostly clueless HOW things work. i've been pirating since the mid-90s and i know fewer people doing it now than i did back when i started. you can rent movies online, purchase them online, buy them in stores, rent them on every fucking corner from redbox, etc. i've tried to teach people how to torrent and they're more cautious about it now ("don't want to get fined") even though it's easier now than it ever was and there's loads more content (no more waiting overnight to download three shitty mp3s)

>paying for media

keep crying, kikes

that's why i said six or seven

6*700Mb=4200Mb. plenty left over for looking at dank memes

Only issue in the UK is the large list of torrent sites the high court made ISPs block. I use Tor to get around it but it's slow.

Think I might get a VPN now Mummy May's breathing down my neck 24/7

I download major blockbuster movies and certain TV shows on Icefilms. Have been for years. I've never seen any letter.

>be me
>dont torrent
>just stream films online
>dont get viruses or be a criminal and download

I always pirate everything and never got an letter

Stop pirating the new release "top box office" shit movies then. Those are the only ones that you will ever see a letter for. TV shows never get flagged, neither do older movies and smaller box office new movies.

>zero (0) letters
>10-12 TB downloaded

...

>stream
>hurr durr it itsn't illegal, i ain't a criminal
don't fucking kid yourself, you're no better than anyone else here
>don't get viruses
neither do i because i'm not a tech illiterate fuckboi

>he doesn't live in a country there it's not illegal to torrent shit

Lmao cucks

>TV shows never get flagged
HBO shows do

Not totally true
>My mother and I have the same cable service
>She uses putlocker and other stream sites for brand new movies
>No problems
>I download old ass movies like Star Trek VI and Antz
>Get email notifications about both
>Download zootopia before it's on Dvd
>No emails

Are stream sites the only safe way anymore, except for VPNs? Can't even download a 30 year plus movie without the ISP getting wind of it.

That seems a case of your ISP snooping as opposed to a film company notifying your ISP that you're downloading

I'd switch ISPs

just get a cheap vpn for pirating

It's cable internet which is great because of the speed and no caps but the snooping is making me consider switching big time.

He probably doesn't care seeing as its not gay porn.

Got a 50TB+ Plex Server.

More content that I'll ever watch. Still adding roughly 1TB a month.

Please send help :(

Yeah, I didn't push my luck, but when I threatened to cancel over it I never got another one, and they gave me some free sports channels (the only thing I watch on cable besides HBO) so I didn't have any problems after that.

Ive gotten emails from my isp every week for years without a problem

Who /dawkawrd/ here? I forgot but I think it's like $20 for all types of services out there

he's saying his father uses a spare bedroom as an office damn user

>spare bedroom

We're not poor, the house came with a dedicated office.

Where the fuck is the newest link to kickass or TBP or any other of these torrent sites? It's fucking annoying finding a new one each week

>this amount of horder's syndrome

consider yourself lucky
If computers didn't exist you would probably have filled your house with crap by now.

I download every day and sometimes i have my computer turned on day and night while downloading numerous movies simultaneously and i never got any letter.

VPN is less than Netflix. I had to start using one when I moved to an area where the ISP cares about pirating. You just open the program and turn it on, and voila! Infinite pirating. It's like $40-50/year, which is fine.

>1080p 60fps
>60fps

thepiratebay.se

i use this all the time except for the one or two times a month it's down then i use a tpb mirror site

>get letter from laywer firm, saying I downloaded some movie 6 months ago
>with letter is a bill for like 300 dollaroos
>movie I was supposed to have downloaded was not even released until 2 months after I supposedly downloaded it

They just send out hundreds, if not thousands of letters, and hope someone just instantly caves and pays the bill without asking questions.

Funny thing is, I've downloaded thousands of movies and the one time I hear anything, is when they try to scam me with a movie I never heard about until then.

I just sent them an email saying I never did what they say I did, and I considered the case closed. Got a beta reponse saying something like "y-yeah ok we accept your answer, case closed"

This happened in Denmark like a month ago.

I remember when I got emails from Comcast when I was like 12 and pirating.

Why is Sup Forums underage? Just get a private torrent or ignore the emails like everyone else down.

Yeah? A lot of porn films in 60 fps these days. Get with the times.

>real life
>60 fps

>TV shows never get flagged
I got flagged for a year old episode of Tosh.0

May I ask what u use? I literally just want to listen to Spotify and Internet radio at work but some geezer was.watching porn and they cracked down on everything Web related.

Here's a tip OP

watchfree.to/

HD movies streaming. Make sure you have uBlock/Adblock and you're good to go.

>live in GERmoney
>"somehow" a pirated film ends up my harddrive
>get letter from lawyer
>they want 970 Euroshekel
>settle it for only 700 (500 for them 200 for my)
