Shitty range

Being a rock star is about the image, not the talent.
also just because he wasnt the mastermind doesnt make the music bad
Yea but he snorted ants.
He's a cucked, tottering, old shell of his self.
I'll still be sad when he dies.
wow it's like the frontman of a band is usually the most popular
Bud if you can't like the guy who pissed on the fucking alamo you just hate fun
having a cool voice>talent and hard work
Some people were put on this earth with an exact purpose and Ozzy did his. He was the perfect voice for what Black Sabbath did and that's just how it had to be. Sperging out about range and/or image is totally missing the point.
Just the other day I was watching an interview with him where he was asked what he thought about the energy at his shows and he started talking about how his life is just one big show and then looked at the interviewer to see if he would get it. The guy has been on a trip since the 60s dude none of this is replicable it was all determined long ago.
s-shut up
he still good tho

Sabbath would never have made it without Ozzy.
Think of the song Black Sabbath and the weird fucked up and quirky way he sings the melody. That shit put shivers up the spine of brits who heard it in the midlands bars in the late 60s. People in bars and pubs literally freaked out and regularly brawled with the band on stage mid-set, because it sounded so foreign and "evil" to them.
A regular rock/metal singer wouldn't have got them noticed in those days.
This is true, image plays a sickening part of everything. Even back in the day Alkan is forgotten because he didn't tour as much as his contemplates and more of a recluse and I believe Liszt thought he was a better player.
Why didn’t they just make Bill Ward the singer? youtu.be
Fuck you faggot, had i seen the limey pissing on the alamo id have shot him dead
this
This. Ozzy has never been a great singer but he fit Sabbath like a glove. Just listen to Dio sing any of the Ozzy era Sabbath songs. He’s technically a much better singer but he just doesn’t sound right singing something like Iron Man. Ozzy gave their early stuff a great snarl.
muh Texas
would put a bullet in you just as fast, yankee
It's just banter m8
Like any other Popular music interpret?
Beyoncé, Madonna, Bowie, David Thomas, Taylor Swift?
I believe he wrote the vocal melodies, which is a very important part of the song
