CLEVELAND SPIDERS

>leaving work because your wife is having a baby

...

AJ did it in 2012

It was actually roos in 2013

disappointing

AL COMEDY CENTRAL

first for Dodgers getting BTFO'd right now

windians!

I swear if the Jays fail to reach .500 again at home against the fucking Whos this time

MARINERS!

>Rays top pick Brendan McKay, meanwhile, is expected to sign for somewhere between $7MM and $7.2MM, according to Berardino. That’d be the largest bonus ever given to a college player under the current draft structure, surpassing Kris Bryant’s $6.7MM sum

SEETHING

MARIONYAS

>no one makes a Mariners thread when I can't do it today

>Twins
>13-20 @Home
>20-9 away

Apparently they hate Minnesota

12-5

WINDIANS

>lost again dudders

Just give the Rockies the division

Nice :)

>LA fans reach for their backup Diamondbacks gear

Thoughts on this pitch sequence?

What's the score of today's game? On my phone and I'm over my data limit

>Neil Walker has partially torn hamstring
>Matt Harvey hurt his scapula

Oh Mets...

>Walker
sad, probably the best infield defender
>Harvey
could not give less of a shit

Little trivia for ya'll.

Anybody know if Andrew Miller has allowed any homers since? Some Keke Rodriguez guy took him 450 deep in think.....

>Andrew Miller giving up a home run is like winning the World Series for Dodgers fans

Someone's gonna pan out and I hope it's Thomas Eshelman!

Not too long now.

Literally who?

>Verlander is an Ac-

he hasn't been an ace since last year

another AAAA player that raked in the minors and will invariably play like shit in the majors. His name is "Rhys Hoskins"

You're still watching?

We're firmly in a wildcard spot champ. Of course I'm watching.

>Firmly in a wild card spot
>Before the All-star break
kys

>3.80 ERA
>2.86 FIP
The Ray's defense is fucking shitty.

Still, almost as many Homers as the Yanks (who will inevitably decline), and the starters have been almost unthinkably good compared to expectations. This could be a very special season.

Also our starting catcher is still injured

Lmao Kershaw getting BTFO on MLB Network

>In his last 25 games, Rhys Hoskins is slashing .213/.327/.382 with just 2 HR.

>This could be a very special season.
What, finishing 3rd in the division?

He's literally been the best player in the minor leagues the past 2 seasons, he's been due for a slump.

Some virgin just said Kershaw is already on the decline hahaha

>Still, almost as many Homers as the Yanks
And? It doesn't matter when you're hitting a bunch of solo home runs
>(who will inevitably decline)
They've already gone through several cold streaks, and are in one right now. They've never left first place. You're delusional if you think the Rays are going to get a WC spot with only solo dingers and no bullpen.
>Also our starting catcher is still injured
You didn't even know this until I told you about Ramos, faggot.

...

>being the best player in the minor leagues for multiple seasons
You know that's not a good thing right

>Last two seasons
He mashed at reading, which literally anybody can do.

>red sox gonna be 10 games over .500 and are 2 games behind the yankees

Sale tonight, don't slip up tonight new york

He'll be sent up within the next few months so we'll see how he fares. He can't hit breaking balls iirc but that's like his only flaw

Yes yes, the Red Sox are pretty good, HOWEVER

miss me yet Mets?

how long until the Twins run differential catches up to them? also WTF Tigers are you even trying?

not a Yaks fan but Jordan Montgomery has looked good this year.

His dad was better

he looks a lot better without his beard

>can't hit breaking balls
>his only flaw
That's a massive fucking flaw

>The Mets also say they do not expect Noah Syndergaard even to begin throwing for another four weeks.

>Mets doctors diagnosed Matt Harvey with a "stress injury to the scapula bone in the right shoulder." He is expected to miss several weeks.

>Neil Walker suffered a partial tear of his left hamstring, and will also miss several weeks. He's going to the DL, with Gavin Cecchini up.

More Met magic.

Who's you got for MVP tonight?

I got Rand Paul

Why does Ryan Zimmerman look 15 years older than he really is?

He will be soon. He'll be 30 years old in less than a year

He looks fat and bloated like he's abusing painkillers and alcohol.

t. assblasted mets fans

Is abusing painkillers and alcohol the secret to having the best year of your career?

He's a good hitter. Not even a mets fan he just looks fat like Harvey when he was abusing painkillers just two months ago...

kek I'm not a mest fan

His home run rate is up, and his FIP isn't terrible, but it's still regressed

>Major League Baseball is forcing the yankees to put NOB's between Aug. 25-27
FINALLY someone makes them follow the rules on SOMETHING

That might be because the ball is juiced... Everyone's HR/9 is up.

>being this assblasted

The ball isn't juiced

It's just

Gonna be a great weekened seeing Yankee players with neon green sleeves, pink gloves, orange shoes and the name "Pinky" on the back of Gary Sanchez's jersey

It's the second roid era

It's gonna be great lads

>Being assblasted because the Yankees don't wear names on their backs
>Complaining that this is evidence that they have their own special rules
m8 just log off

So, whose gonna watch some Federal Baseball tonight?

don't you love it when fans of other teams get so caught up in >our team's business?. that's a pretty cucky thing to do desu

The Yankees do not
>Have Majestic patches on their uniforms like every other team
>Have Flex base Uniforms for their players
These are mandatory for the 29 other teams. And I'm not 100% on this, but I've never seen a yankee player wear a hat with the new era logo

Over some little bullshit like names on the back of jerseys too. It's fucking incredible to me how asshurt the Yankees make people.

Don't the Red Sox and Giants not have names on their backs during home games?

Also god forbid some team keeps with tradition.

Literally why do you care? Does not wearing these patches improve their play or something?

>orange ducks
how da fuk is you gonna lose to a team that is trying to lose?

Balls are leaving the yard on line drives. I expect Daniel Murphy to go from above average contact hitter with no power to elite contact hitter with power because of angle but bums hitting homers, no. Ball is juiced. Cueto just gave up like 4 homers last night. Kershaw was already allowed 13 in 100IP. Max allowed 30 homers lasts season, let's see how many he finishes with at 220IP. Ball is juiced. Fuck Manfred.

>Thinking it's the NOB and not "being allowed to skip things other teams have to do"
If it was NOB I would've brought up the other teams
>Have rules
>Don't enforce them because reasons
Nice league you got there. I bet a team like the Diamondbacks decided to do what the Yankees did so Manfred had to step up for his corporate owners

Just make them the full time uniforms you jackasses

Who are the Nats going to get to fix their bullpen?

Injuns

Umm wtf, remove this racist hate filled symbol pls, it's triggering me

The Yankees are literally the only team that doesn't have alternative uniforms, and they've had the same uniforms for almost 100 years. When teams change their uniforms every decade and have alternative uniforms, they get more money from jersey sales from people trying to buy the latest/coolest jersey for their team. The Yankees sacrificed this extra money by sticking to tradition.

The Yankees not gaining an extra profit on jersey sales in order to keep tradition entirely gives them the right to not wear the required jerseys on their logo. You can fucking live with it.

Almost like the Yankees matter more to the MLB than the fucking DBacks

Bad enough the Yankees do those ugly camo uniforms now

>Bad enough the Yankees do those ugly camo uniforms now
I've never seen them wear these

>Yankees turn down free money
>This makes them above rules and standards
They matter exactly as much as every other MLB team. Sorry you're wrong in thinking otherwise because 'muh antiquated championships from when the soviet union existed'

Go back to Memorial day or whatever holiday

They had their numbers and the "new york" words in camo

>hurr because its old it doesn't count
get a load of this guy kek

>muh tradition
>judge's chambers

really makes you think

Every other team doesn't boost attendence figures as the visiting team, viewership, or has the tradition

Why the fuck do you care that the Yankees don't have to do goofy shit?

Why do they say "Hitters park" and "Pitchers park" when they mean "Home run park" and "not home run park"

We should all bend over and let the Yankees do whatever they want with us desu

I wish Ruth, Gehrig, DiMaggio and Mantle would fill up my boipusy with their superior Yankee cocks desu

They should have walls 200 feet away from home plate when they bat, but 500 feet away when the other team bats. Also, their pitchers should be able to throw from 45 feet instead of 60

Tiki is gay

You're entirely missing the point. The Yankees have had the most recognizable jersey for 80+ years now, and haven't strayed away from it at all. MLB probably doesn't care about some fucking logos if the team in question is trying to uphold a uniform they've been using for almost a century.

It's a fucking logo. Quit being so asshurt about it. Untuck your dick from between your legs and worry about shit that actually matters.

Oh, I thought you meant the atrocious camo uniforms that teams like the Padres wear.
