Only heard Filth and SftB so far, loved em both. Probably gonna jam Children of God next.

listened to some Swans today

Children of God is great tbqh familia

Been binging lots of SftB mysellf as well lately, I can't listen to that album on repeat

>comparing any different eras of Swans or Gira's

stop!

Why not lol

I like Swans.

totally incomparable wtf

The Seer>Soundtracks>How I Loved You>The Great Annihilator>Filth>Drainland

>SFTB
so much to take in

Not really
learn how to into double disc albums user

Hearing Cloud of Unknowing live is probably my favourite concert experience.

i agree, have they released the official footage from the warsaw shows yet?

dude do you even continuous aesthetic development from early 1970s art scene til the present?

Dude
Glowing man live
The way Gira raises his foot to telegraph to the rest of the band that they're gonna play real fucking loud is fucking awesome
as he steps they press all sorts of pedals and everyone freaks the fuck out

>what is natural evolution of sound changing various aspects and aesthetics and shedding baggage to create a new and more visceral sound

the aesthetic hasnt really changed.

new space, but there is more continuity than not.

Live in bochum version of our love lies is the best recording they have ever made.

>tfw The Burning World isn't on Spotify
>tfw (She's a) Universal Emptiness isn't on an compilation
What the FUCK

>Streaming

>not streaming to find new songs and artists to add to your digital collection

it's the perfect follow up to cloud of unknowing. Cloud of Unknowing made me transcend my body and identity for a moment, when Gira started chanting I felt like I was being pulled out of my body. It was the closest I've got to an out of body experience. Glowing Man catapulted me right back, I felt like a new person and I went crazy.

To Be Kind > Soundtracks for the Blind > White Light From the Mouth of Infinity > The Seer > The Great Annihilator > Filth > The Glowing Man
Haven't heard the rest.

Why don't you like TGM?

I think it's almost just as solid as To Be Kind, aside from the catchiness factor

Dumpan a few reviews from a while back

...

>digital collection
"collection"

Absolutely mesmerising

And that's it

Here's a rare recording of a secret live show in Brno while The Czech Republic was under communist rule

No idea why it's in FLAC, but whatever
Don't have the tracklist on me right now, but I can get it if anyone gives a shit

I do like it, I still think it's an 8 / 10 I just prefer the others.

Best place to get more merch from?
Preferably also in black and white
