What did you think of these movies, Sup Forums? I just watched the newer one last night, and then rewatched the older one.

I think the original was actually alright, but the new one was just shit.

The Olyphant one was the type of real kino that audiences love that critics and their pretentious horse shit will never understand. Video game kino doesn't even have a chance. If Silent Hill, Doom and Hitman 1 get shit on then you know it's the system that's broken and not the fauld of the artists.

You watch Jankovsky alone in your sad room. I'll be watching Hitman kino.

I only saw the new one, and after buying the HD remaster trilogy to prep for it (I like to have a frame of reference for watching vidya films) I gotta say...was that movie made as a money laundering scheme?

They had a couple of references to the games but on the whole completely missed the fucking point of 47 as a character, and as a result the games as a whole.

Just once I'd like to see 47 in film form as a slasher villain, or at least give him that sort of presence. It'd be cool to see a high-class slasher from the killer's perspective.

First movie was alright, even with that retarded sword fight scene.

The new one is hot garbage.

The first one was a disappointment. But the new one makes it look like Shakespeare.

The sad thing is I think they hit on a really neat idea of focusing on the target and making 47 seem like the bad guy, but they cut that shit way too short, and also everything else was terrible.

The only things I really think were bad in the original were that sword fight, and the ridiculous Russian soldier paintball outfits. Everything else was actually pretty Hitman, even the plot.

Also fuck Batman, this guy is real fucking CIA. I really liked this scene.

First HITMAN was legit fun as fuck. Sad they shit on it with the remake

Agent 47 was genuenly the worst movie of that year. No one called it that because no one gave a shit but it was fucking awful. Havent seen the first though.
