It's made by Chrysler/Dodge and is therefore shit. Seriously, I wouldn't buy one.

Probably the same reasons Americans don't like them

They already have Mercedes, which is essentially a better, sleeker version of Cadillac. Also brands like Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Porsche, BMW, Jaguar....Cadillac is an extremely American type of luxury car, unless Cadillac is willing to make sacrifices in their design to satisfy foreigners they won't sell well overseas. This is a step no American car manufacturer has ever truly been willing to make, except for Ford (which sells very well in the UK and Australia).

Ironically though, BMW, Lexus, and Mercedes figured out exactly what made Cadillac so popular, copied it for their American models, and did such a good job that even now Cadillac is struggling. Hell, Lexus was so good that people in Japan and Europe actually started buying the cars, even though they were designed specifically for Americans.

Shitty almost none existant dealer network. They're also far more expensive in Europe than they are in the US so they can't really compete with BMW the way they do here.

American cars are shit quality. When buy one if we could buy a decent German, Swedish or Japanese car?

Put together from the general GM parts bin apart from the exterior and interior skin, materials feel cheap, nothing seems to last very long (pieces falling off and headliner sagging before some other brands even start to develop serious rattles), personal experience with unreliability in GM cars, awful corporate politics that risk hundreds of deaths due to faults to save a few pennies per car. You get a lot of car in terms of size for the money with American cars, but in return the quality suffers, and Europeans prioritize quality over size, not lastly due to our limited road space. Americans on the other hand build cars like they build houses, big and opulent looking and nobody really cares how well it's actually made.

Could always be worse America-sama

British cars have a bad history with British Leyland sure, but they seem to do well nowadays.

Triumph, Caterham and Morgan are alive and well and absolutely splendid however.

Because american cars are ugly. Its Volvo or Volkswagen - or nothing.

>Work in Saudi Arabia for couple of years
>See hiluxes, isuzus, land cruisers, tahoes and Silverados still going after 500 K miles
>Range rovers don't even survive city cruising and break down left and right

American and Japanese cars are the most durable. Brits make shit and will always make shit

>ugly pigfat landbarge

Nah they have way better cars

sounds like tu madre except she free
aaayyyyy lmao

The drivetrains on American trucks and SUVs are good, but everything else isn't.

Swedish cars all the way

fuck Volkswagen tho

Most Americans don't even like them pham. They're pretty shitty desu, especially for the price

>swedish
You mean Chinese.

Still Swedish mate. All Volvo's sold in Europe is still made in Sweden. The brand might be owned by a Chinese company but everything else is 100% Swedish.
>still drives a 245, best car ever made

As of now, but they're planning to move the entire production to China.

I'm not sure if your underage or trolling but Cadillac is a division of GM you retard.

I still wouldn't buy one because they're marketed to niggers

>entire production
Nope only the S90 series will be made there.
Volvo Göteborg (gothenburg) just upgraded and re-built their factory and hired almost 8% more people than before.
They won't be going anywhere.

typical american type of cars are cool like the impala or dodge or the mustang but this new modern ones are just plastic BMWs

If GM makes them like those concepts, they'd beat any Euro cars into the ground. Too bad modern car industry is a retarded "fast-food chains" and nothing else.

All modern cars have lots of plastic in them and I wish they were as good as bmws

Where manufacturing takes place does not determine the nationality of the brand. The company is owned by the Chinese. The Chinese decide what the company does. Thus the company is Chinese. Toyota has manufacturing plants in the UK. That does not make Toyota a British brand.
Volvo is a Chinese brand.

>The Chinese decide what the company does
Actually no, the majority of the votes for future plans are actually Swedish, the majority owner is Chinese but all major decisions are made by the Swedish owners Första AP-fonden, AMF and Folksam. Not a single car or expansion is made without the clear OK from them.
That was and still is the contract made when they sold the brand so global expansion was possible.

i didnt mean the material, it looks soulless and fake, like most americans by now

(OP)
It offers nothing that one can't have with an European car.

>American """""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""banter""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""

I do, but they don't sell them here, they are too large for our roads and way too expensive for us.
