Try to: - Include correct format (artist / band, title of release, year of release, the file type (v0, 320 mp3, FLAC, etc), short description or genre, YouTube sample, link)
thank you, i am new to sharethreads and just a dumb girl new to actually posting after years of surfing this board
Owen Moore
I've been waiting for a new sharethread since a few days ago to post this. This is a rather obscure western-themed metal band I found a few years ago that I could never find actual rips of online and forgot about, but a thread here the other day motivated me to go searching. Turns out they'd released a new EP and their first album in that time, I haven't listened to the new album yet but the two EPs are pretty good.
Anyways, this is Redwest, a spaghetti western metal band from Italy. Vocalist sounds kinda like Dir en Grey's vocalist, you'll know the one when you hear it. Album is from the net and in 320kbps MP3, both EPs were rather difficult to find and were thus ripped from YT but are still decent quality.
"Zabelle (sometimes Zabella) Panosian was born in Bardizag (present-day Bahçecik, Turkey) on June 7, 1891. She emigrated to the U.S. in April 1896 and married the photo-engraver Aram Sarkis Panosian, 12 years her senior. She lived in Brookline, Mass., from 1908 until at least 1920. During that time, she sang with the Boston Opera Company. (In 1918, she recorded "Charmant Oiseux" - "Charming Birds" - from Felicien David's La Perle du Bresil, the only song she recorded in any language other than Armenian and which had been recorded by, among others, Luisa Tetrazzini in 1911, who had also sung with the short-lived Boston Opera Company.)"

ETIQUETTE - Include correct format (artist / band, title of release, year of release, cover art, the file type (v0, 320 mp3, FLAC, etc), short description, YouTube sample, link) - Send thanks if you have downloaded something to let them know they did a good thing - Avoid sharing / requesting things that are already on the archive - Soulseek / rutracker are your friends, too - just don't argue in this thread about it
REQUESTS >I have a request! Did I... - Check the archive for a live link before requesting? - Share something first? - Google "blogspot + artist name + album name"
ARCHIVE >"I don't know how to find what I'm looking for in the archive" - Go here: >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> archive.rebeccablacktech.com/mu/ - When searching, limit your search to links only, like so: "desired album mega|zippyshare|mediafire" - Make sure you've typed "zippyshare" and not "zippy", or else Zippyshare links will not be found.
Requesting Lusine - Serial Hodgepodge because the archive is down, ty

Cherry Bing - In A Language All Our Own >ska, apparently Buffalo had a burgeoning ska scene in the early 2000s and most of the bands sort of fell off the radar
Sample isn't actually from the EP if only because there doesn't seem to be any sort of sample on YT. Sample is the track from their album which I have been unable to locate that I found through Zombie Smashers X2 many years ago.
Reccing any more material from this band, Dinkus 9, or Skarmy of Darkness, which were all used for the soundtrack of the game and all pretty much faded into obscurity despite being critically acclaimed in their local scenes, based on my research from earlier.

Thanks for adding copypasta, and for the good share

Skarmy of Darkness - Infinity And Zero EP >ska, same as above
And this one actually has album art this time! Same as above, except the band was from western Mass instead of Buffalo. I found this on some obscure Russian site initially when I went looking today, but an user on Soulseek had this and the Cherry Bing releases so special thanks goes out to them for these.

Stevie Wonder's classic period (1972-1976) >soul, funk, you know what this is >320 mp3 >mega zippy

Agathocles - To Serve... To Protect / Leads To... (1999 / 2000) >Mincecore, Grindcore, Crust Punk >320 mp3

I'll bump with this because when I shared it a few days ago the thread died before anyone saw it
Japancakes - Loveless (2007) [VBR: 237-205kbps] >Loveless as chamber pop >full-length cover of the My Bloody Valentine lp >unlike MBV, JC uses neither guitar effects/vacuum cleaners nor vocals at all. Melodies are front-and-center here, pianos, vibraphone, cello, violins, pedal steel >dunno how this board is all over the weeb/korean versions but never mentions this one, which is far superior and rivals the original in feels.
