Currently only a short single but we've got an LP on the way with a lot of avant and hopefully rarely before seen shit in terms of hip-hop.
check out my album I released yesterday called Mall Crawlers!

Pretty good. Could be more glitchy me thinks.
Here's my first attempt at "vaporwave". It was described as industrial plunderphonics by someone, so keep that in mind.
Thanks. As much as I wanted to glitch it out, I also wanted to keep it a bit more laid back. But glad someone likes the glitches. Will be a little more creative in the upcoming EP

I clicked instantly, because I love memphis rap, but this one disappointed me a bit. The beat is too sterile and has no character, the melody is silly and the random noises make it even more unlistenable. The drums don't have a groove, they lie in the background of the mic, they don't punch me like it should (I'm not saying you should go full-on $uburbanfuckboy$ and kill my subwoofers, but at least put dynamics in it)
As for the rapping, you try a bit hard to be different, the flow is awkward and the lyrics aren't too entertaining.

Where's the bass at?
oh yeah, I've got an ambient album and a noise album too. Also I made a house track that sounds corny af.
post em
I could hear right away that you know what you're doing and you've been making ambient for a long time
I fucking love this, my only complaint is the overuse of reverb, I know it shouldn't be bad in ambient, but the constant wish-washes just sound cliché to me, sorry

After laying low for a few months, we have just now released a new album of improvisations in the rehearsal: Zapadas (vol. 3). 100% spontaneous jams collected in a period of over a year, between 2016 and 2017. Note: these are NOT compositions and it's not intended to sound clean and well produced. Its a collection of recordings from the rehearsal room, made with a zoom h2n mic placed in the middle of the room

eh, this was weird. beat didn't really go anywhere or even feel like a Memphis beat desu. like varsas said, feels like you're trying too hard to be different and nothing really locks into place
>mfw these threads are all the same 10 people spamming their shit
The majority of good musicians from the last couple years either stopped making music or stopped posting on Sup Forums

>experimental, samples, midi
promoting on Sup Forums is only useful for gaining the same 30 followers that create the soundcloud;/bandcamp Sup Forums community. It's all really a follow 4 follow without either musicians even really listening to the person they just followed. Just numbers it feels. I do enjoy the people that actually give feedback. But promoting music on Sup Forums is just moot point. Maybe for gaining friends that promote at the same forum as you, or some new music.
maybe try these. no reverb at all.

I like these more, thank you
Any idea where else someone can promote their music or make friends?
I love making music but I haven't had a social circles in 5+ years. Live out in the country and don't know anybody.
Definitely start out by finding a discord or a non-anonymous forum of regulars contributing to the same style/genre and get yourself acquainted. You can find people to collab with or even get your music out to much more popular people.
Another way is trying to get your foot in the door with a lesser known label. Find a label that your genre could be an asset to and send them a demo. If they love it, you will be placed into a community that pretty much serves all in the same label. You can find lots of cool new people there and you'd be gaining popularity.
Most importantly just focus on promotion.
More promotion > More followers > More friends > More music > Repeat
How do you find discords for music? Also any forums you would recommend?
Unfortunately I don’t know many places. But for example, there are some threads here that have a community. Like the production threads have a discord. There was a lofi hip hop prod thread floating around before. But it just means that they could possibly be anywhere. Check YouTube, google, even post a thread searching for some communities here.

A small collection of demos and live recordings I made with a friend in our old apartment. It's imperfect and unfinished, but it's still important to us.
