But yeah, body-building always seemed weird to me. Men should should be strong, but body-building isn't synonymous with strong and, indeed, has sort of effeminate/homosexual connotations to me - you're sculpting your body to look a certain way aesthetically rather than serve certain utilitarian purposes.
