I like it as a song, but not as an anthem, I guess. It sounds like a saturday morning cartoon song a bit.
The romance countries do have the best anthems, though. Everyone else's are just boring and bland, with some notable exceptions (Russia, Ukraine and the like). But as a whole group, ours are the best.

It's not very good. The music is based on an old England pub song, and the lyrics are shit, about a battle in war of 1812 (who cares). It wasn't even our anthem until Woodrow Wilson, that huge asshole, chose it in 1916, and then legally in 1931.
