で、後半について;「そうではないですか?」は、否定疑問でisn't it so?となる。 「これが人としての器ではないでしょうか?」 は、だから訳としては、 Isn't this your capacity as a person? となる。 「人の器」は、この場合は、generosityが大きいことを意味する。そういう意味では、上のallowと一致する だから、意訳はとしては don't you think that could show your generosity? という感じ。 似たようなもの。 ワイも、日本の移民受け入れには大反対やで。
