If anybody has a subject they want rapped about and a track I'll probably do it. Stay blesst.
Gabriel Hall
God damn there are so many of these threads to keep up with Just worked on this for around eleven hours straight as a part of a class assignment I'm probably taking way too far. It had to be constructed completely out of non-musical sounds I recorded around my campus and dorm. The ending is still unfinished, hence how long it is. Other than that, how does it sound?
Your intro excited me but it’s pretty standard sounding after that. Good for what it is, but I think it needs variation to warrant being an instrumental
>lofi >two-piece >mix of composition and improv >prog?pop?
Fusion I guess, lots of influences, but these recordings are fairly early of our first two songs.
Reccs:
Luke Ramirez
Which ones are your own instrumentals?
Landon Nguyen
pretty much any of them that dont have a producer in the title.
if you want proof i make beats i have a channel that demonstrates making beats from start to finish, sounds like you wanna check it out. its pretty fun. check out the vid with 12k views, i got lucky with that one
Pretty good stuff. It's good to be a rapper that also knows how to work with a DAW and make instrumentals. I've worked with a lot of rappers that have no idea what they're doing when they record and try to master my shit.
love me some good vaporwave footwork damn dude. you're on some gucci mane work moral shit. it's really good. kinda newschool/oldschool i like it. cool chill laid back flow i really fuck wit this. i can really feel it. i have a feeling you'd enjoy my shit even tho u wouldn't understand a word
the instrumentals drown out the vocals, either turn up the vocal, put a compressor on them, put a compressor on the instrumental, or just pay a professional engineer to mix/master it for you
Jaxson Sanchez
ah yeah i can see that. the vocals are already pretty heavily compressed so ill try compressing the beat more. thanks for the advice brother!
you have any tracks you want an opinion on?
Xavier Torres
not today man, I don't really post music here since i'm not much of a musician, I'm an engineer, I usually just give feedback
Carson Davis
ah yea, thats chill. im doing sound engineering in college so the feedbacks always important haha
whats your thoughts on this mix? thinking i may have to do a few more takes but not sure
damn now this is a large library to sift through! Interesting to hear how you've changed some things and refined others over the years. I dunno but of the few I've checked out so far I seem to most like your older stuff.
Man I wasn't ready to lose track of time and just coast like this. So good. Top tier rainy day playlist material
Caught you in another thread. Loving the funky grooves and dance vibes. Very infectious
Can't common on your lyrics cause I only speak English, but I love the sound of your voice. checked out a few of your other tracks too, and "I told the sky to hug me" and "U dont care" are so so so good. huge lush atmosphere
not my pref style for the lyrics, but the mixing is very crisp and you have a nice voice.
this is sliiiick man. I really like No Way the most. really, really good all around with the whole band.
---------- Feedback: Really dig this. Nice Real Estate vibes. Look forward to hearing more!
Definitely not like anything I've heard before. I like how all the disparate parts meld together. Especially dig the beachy psych punky guitar and the horns.
I listened to "Someone Else" and really enjoyed it. Kind of like if the Beatles were lo-fi + millenial + canadian.
I like this sensibility a lot. It's a unique aesthetic and does a good job of staying consistently within that aesthetic. i really like "im going to uninstall and reinstall my heart maybe that will fix it"
Josiah Williams
nice track, i like this in the same way i like a mccains frozen pizza. side note why don't they do home delivery on those??
Brody Long
hahaha is this you culf? otherwise you and me share some serious political views on mccains lack of delivery
First track online, some experimental shit with open tunings and demons
Leo Russell
siiiiiiick as hellllll god damn this is dope
Not bad, bro. Your Soundcloud stuff is cool and the video is solid, but you should look into better sound options for your bass with vids cause it's a little hard to hear you. Diggin the hair, too
reccs: nice positive gfunk pretty good stuff really enjoying how this goes on, pretty unique & interesting shitt really interesting blackened industrial.
wondering if anyone'd be able to collab? If so just hmu @ [email protected] all I'll be wantin is the most random freestyle ya got that u don't think u can use. Uh I guess I can offer drumming and sax from the 15th, beats and vox till then. ok hmu u cucks
Ayy, I like this a lot. Funky shit, are all those instruments sampled or? The only critique I could give is that the vocals are a little lost in the mix, it's deep so it gets a little muddy and unclear at times. That's such a minor thing though, liked and followed, gonna check out more shit.
Jaxon Ward
cheers brother, appreciate it! yeah its straight up an alan tew track from the 70's i added some d'angelo samples to haha. yeah i feel that, a few people have said that so i reckon i'll do a little extra mixing
Xavier Rodriguez
thanks man, and i know i should, i have an interface im just lazy and just like recording a rough cover, ill get more into audio quality when i have less uni work
i am a huge skinny puppy fan and listen to alot of cure and dark throne, i like your stuff too my man
Jack Murphy

Sebastian Jackson
