It's just a fun monster vs. monster flick, very reminiscent of the classic Universal monster movies, but a little less cerebral. The human characters aren't stellar, but their interactions with the Predator are interesting, and the 'setup' of the environment lends to a unique Alien battle like we've never seen before in a movie.
