I'm trying to make it a habit to go at least one a week so I can start getting out more. It was a really nice day today besides cutting up my hands.
I didn't have anything to do at work so I left and went to the batting cages (so basically got paid to go to the cages) then after that I bought me and my mom dinner and I tipped the girl working the register $5 because she was really cute.
Now I get to watch a comfy Chris Sale game. I hope everybody else had as good a day as I did.

I think that's only at big franchises, this was a local place. I probably should've asked. I literally only tipped her because she was a pretty skinny blonde with beautiful light blue eyes and held eye contact with me during the entire order.

I'm so rusty from not playing in 10+ years that I've just purely working on contact. It's like my motor skills are completely gone, but I improved a lot today compared to last time.
I guess I swing high most of the time, once I adjusted my stance to more of a squatting position even my light swings were absolutely bombing. I think their machines are adjusted for kids or something because the ball was so low. But the softball machine was like a foot over my head lol.
And yeah my hands were literally oozing blister goo all over the bat, I hope I don't get an infection.

The only bat I have anymore is an autographed 2004 world series bat lol. They have their own helmets and bats at the cages I go to, but if I can get in a routine of going regularly I'll probably buy my own. Almost certainly going to try and find some cheap gloves though so I don't mess up my hands again.

In all seriousness, I think when Pablo comes back you give him one to two weeks of starting most games. It's not like you're getting offense from Rutledge or Marrero. If he doesn't show significant improvement over that time, cut your losses and release him. Eat the money. Just move on. He's getting paid either way, might as well just help the team by moving him off the roster. Agree / disagree?

At this point Id rather play Rutledge and Marrero for the rest of the season and see how they do, preparing to bring in a quality player for the position.
