Hey, did you missed me? Of course, you haven't, let's not fool ourselves. I'm back for a bit for some more shilling, sending feedback and such. If an Argentinian surf rocker in make-up can do it then so am I!

Well, of course they do, it's like a tradition at this point.
I guess Soundcloud will die soong so why not?

Nah, it won't. Rumors of that exists for around few years right now, this thing is like a crazy Frankenstein,
As for your track(s) - I feel that you could speed up a tiny bit without losing any flavor on that song, it would make it standout more from the crowd. Additionally, some drum patters are very, very generic when it comes to the beats as well as their sound. However, textures that you're mixing into the track are quite interesting and adds a bit more to the track's overall presentation. Just don't go in the same direction as the rest of the flock!
Ayy, that's some pretty good black metal! But I don't really know how to feel about that guitar sound. I think it's either the mixing which makes them flat or the harshness of it. Is the effects on the guitar digital by chance? I'm loving me some growl as well! Good job overall
Yeah they're digital sadly, the amp I have isn't the greatest thing in the world
Appreciate the feedback though!

The first track is ready and awaiting vocals. The second is getting there with a third to follow when it's done. One at a time is how I'm going and it's working!
the wait wasn't worth it
>simoncameronfletcher.bandcamp.com
your rhythm in general is pretty bad and it's really offputting
also the songs are just generally boring, and the awkward double-tracking doesn't help
epiglottis.bandcamp.com
nothing special here, just shopping mall music, at least try to make something that holds the listener's attention
I thought the point of IDM was to make interesting dance music? this just sounds like generic club music. try writing a melody or adding vocals or something
this is about as bland as black metal can get. try listening to classic black metal albums and taking note of what they do to maintain listener interest; dark dissonant riffs in weird scales, changing tempos, maybe some arpeggios. second track is a little better, but still pretty underwhelming
ugh
this is kind of nice, i'm sure it will go well with the film
pretty disappointed tonight fellas. I don't check this board often since i'm busy with recording and touring but when I do there's usually a lot of good stuff here. I might come back later if I have time and suss this out

So you're saying that Australia-Hungary has some mall music made out of the samples taken from the records of 40s and 50s? Take me there senpai!
Glad you keeping on amigo!
>So you're saying that Australia has some mall music made out of samples taken from the records of 40s and 50s?
yeah, a few of them

we could use more people like you on this board user
I knew from the start I shouldn't expect everyone to like my music, and any feedack/criticism is always useful
I sometimes write songs that callback to the early second wave, but then I'm just sat listening back to it and thinking how it's nothing new and doesn't add anything to the genre
That and I can't really play guitar that well

well technically Flying Microtonal was recorded in 2016 after we finished work on Nonagon, then Murder Universe was done around the time Microtonal was released, so you know, stuff is completed ahead of time, that's how we were able to even make the claim about the five albums. With the festival, obviously we have a lot of help with that, so it's not that big of a deal. Stay tuned for the fifth album though, we hope y'all dig it.
maybe I could give you a cheeky sneak peak riff, idk though since it's pretty late night right now and my guitar's still in it's case
plz open the door
is this good? took this pic a few days ago, since we like to make that joke ourselves sometimes too. I can't even begin to tell you how many times Stu has done that whenever Lucas or Eric walks into the room
Couldn't ask for any better hahah, very psyched for whatever y'all've got in the works next

HOOOLY FUCK I would've never thought I'd hear actual circuit bending music here. This is fucking amazing, and really well produced.
Call it gimmicky all you want, but King Gizz is one of the most creative psych rock bands today
It ain't bad I tell you, I'm glad you finally decided to release something. The songs are well-produced, dreamy and catchy. I wish it was longer and more RAPPIN'
As for the lyrics... well, it's better if I don't focus on them.
You've got the voice, but that's it.
>your rhythm in general is pretty bad and it's really offputting... the awkward double-tracking doesn't help
I agree this is really bad sounding, this just sounds like an awkward mess. simon, take some time to get a really solid first take and then the overdubs are actually much easier and it will sound much better people will ask you how you got it to sound so good
