I tried out Aphex Twin but I don't like it. Recommend the best electronic music

>I don't like an artist in a category of music that spans several genres
>please recommend me some music
Give us a starting point you nerd.
What do you like?
I never listen to electronic music that's why I want recommendations. I listened to aphex twin because everyone recommends it but I didn't like it.
I guess I would like something smiliar to this
youtube.com
Orbital, Autechre, Sinjin Hawke, Kamixlo, Mechatok, Sega Bodega, Yamaneko, Dark0
Try two of the Burial's full lengths, they're special. Ash Koosha is pretty good if it comes to the recent electronic music.
Flying Lotus - Los Angeles
Boards of Canada - Geogaddi
Oneohtrix Point Never - R Plus Seven
That'll do.
Aphex does have a few tracks like that
Autechre, Plaid, Squarepusher. If I had to guess I predict you'd like Plaid best.
this as well as Tangerine Dream's output from Phaedra up to Hyperborea (ie all the albums released on Virgin), Jean Michel Jarre, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Autechre, and of course, Kraftwerk
great taste. add also vangelis, klaus schulze, brian eno, gas, pete namlook and the future sound of london.

Kindred EP is his true masterpiece tho
If you want to escape endless post-African repetitions, I recommend Karlheinz Stockhausen.
this
plus Bonobo, essential electronic music artist for those who don't enjoy electronic music
youtube.com
I listened to this first in a sissy hypno video.
if you decide to listen to the anons and check out autechre, listen to their albums before confield
confield is basically a hard line in their discography
Autechre
Confield is their best album though
I 100% agree with you but if this nerd didn't like aphex twin there's no way he's going to like confield or anything after it
I see confield as the point in their discography where they went from danceable tunes to more heady music
jesus christ could you be more vague?
Just listen to some more Aphex. You aint telling me that you don't enjoy any of his tracks. And otherwise just don't bother with electronic music cause that's about as good as it gets
Kraftwerk
>tips fedora
I don't care for most of RDJ's work but I love recent Ae.

god damn i hate the way Sup Forums perceived electronic music
recommending fucking autechre. fuck off with that amusical garbage
Yooo why is there not a general for this kinda discussion, like /electronic/ or /watmm/ or sth
Tired of these recs and discussions only being able to take place in threads originally about a particular artist/album, or in uncommon threads like this one. There's clearly a good amt of people who are down with it and it is clear time and time again that these artists are excluded from the scope of discussion in /bleep/, just saying, i wish there were a more permanent home for this type of thing on Sup Forums
Can anyone recommend some great stuff for rolling?
yeah sure
eu ('tuner' EP)

u-ziq ('lunatic harness')

bengalfuel ('majek' or 'hodes')

>ceephax acid crew
One of the worst music electronic artists I've ever heard. You might as well stick wax paper in your ear canal, it's just as interesting
isn't that called /bleep?
bleep is specifically only for dance music and they're all total faggots about nondance electronic music
try out "esseks", "um.." or "toadface"
You can't dance to boards of canada?
try electronic side of the greatest band ever existed Radiohead. They have made some cool albums like Kid A and The King of Limbs which contain many good electronic tracks
Yooo why is there not a general for rock music discussion, like /string/ or /r/indieheads/ or sth
