Got a whammy, feels kinda weird on the board though. More comfortable on the floor.
Nathan Flores
Squier Deluxe Strat or Squier Vintage Modified Surf Strat?
Or build a super Squier?
Xavier Hall
Nice Geiger counter, do you use it often?
And yeah the whammy is fucking massive, also extremely ugly imo.
Get a classic vibe
Luis Wright
Love the Digidelay! The DD-7 I use now is somehow inferior, and as I recall the Digitech was just like $60 back in '04
Asher Howard
VM always
Ayden King
Probably feel better placed closer to the front of the board.
Thomas Martinez
Yes, I'm phasing out my big muff with it Issue is I can't reach the back row, thinking maybe a block of wood behind it will raise the synth9 so I can hit it. One of my favourites and earliest pedals, didn't appreciate it's reverse and glitch until much later.

fellas I want a cheap but nice bass, any suggestions before I go hunting?
Jack Price
I suggest you play a real instrument. Maybe your parents will pitch in for a kazoo.
Justin Hernandez
What kind of music are you looking to play?
Lincoln Cruz
I already own 2 guitars
Liam Clark
HE SAID A REAL INSTRUMENT
Brody Walker
Mostly rock/punk stuff I guess? Not really into the funky jazz side of bass
Guns of Brixton, Joy Division. Basslines like that
Angel Nguyen
Get a p-bass of any sorts literally. Used vintage modified would be great. But basically yeah any p-bass.
Ethan Martinez
I got myself an old Japanese Squier bass for like 200 bucks. I suggest you try to find something similar as they are very high quality and sound great
Connor Gomez
thanks lads, appreciate it

Jazz or Precision styled bass is the way to go for simple yet reliable. That said, ESP LTD and Ibanez Soundgear lines are excellent for the price if you're looking for 5 and 6 strings.
Nicholas Bell
Soundgears are basic bitch Stacy of basses. They all sound the fucking same, zero character, very plastic, modern and hifi. Tiny necks however. Pretty much the equivalent of Ibanez electric guitars, verbatim. And they won't nail that 80s bass tone either.
Get a P-bass for P-bass stuff. And this comes from a guy who has an Ibanez, BTB but still an Ibanez.
Why do all brands deliver new guitars with strings already on? Wouldn't it better if they came with the strings sealed instead so they won't go bad during transportation?
Colton Kelly
Epiphone Thunderbird iv, unless you are small in stature. If you are small just stick with some kind of P-Bass as previously directed.
Kevin Nguyen
Rat and TS9. If have to choose between these two go Rat for all purpose utility
Chase Nelson
How should I set up my pedalboard? What should go first and what should be last? (I'm talking in terms of effects what should go first and what should go last, to clarify).
Joshua Hill
Tell us what you've got and we will organize it

We can all agree that the J Mascis Jazzmaster is the best bang for your buck out of any entry level electric guitar, right?
Andrew Fisher
I'll give my vote to Reverend guitars.
Cooper Kelly
Bass will do that to ya. I've been playing 3 years now and I've practically got no nerves left in my fingers, but even just a few weeks ago my fingers were hurting after I got particularly carried away with sliding up and down the fretboard.
Aiden Carter
Spotted one of these puppies on eBay for 50 eurobucks and pounced on it. Good or bad move?
Also this is my first pedal so far, what else do I need to round out my pedalboard? So far I'm looking at getting a delay, an octave, an envelope filter and a bit crusher (for that extra spice).
Ethan Morales
>buy Gibson >a sticker on the fretboard actually says "Only a Gibson™ is good enough"
I agree. Looks awesome, sounds awesome, feels awesome. What more can you want?

Any of you playing telecaster into a Vox? What kind of fuzzes sound good? Either into a cooked Vox or clean.
Ethan Russell
big muff is allways the answer. Death By Audio pedals are fucking sick too.
Levi Young
>telecaster into a Vox you are doing it wrong get a godamn brian may signature guitar soy.
Caleb Baker
So many variations of the big muff, don't even know where to start looking
Chase Reyes
a phallic dog toy you shove up your arse?
Ayden Richardson
But Brian May also played a tele into his vox.
Brody Cox
Tele and Vox is a classic combo

I was jamming at open mic night, playing drums and improvising vocals about potato chips. There was literally nobody who stayed late except for this one bassist and the guy who organized the event.
later we did a cover of Romantic Rights (we only knew the chorus) and this lady who works in the cafeteria walked in and told us it was the nicest song she'd heard all day!
>come here baby I love your company >we could do it and start a family >she was living alone un/andhappily >come here baby uhh, romantic rights!
She was like, "I work in retail dining downstairs and that was the nicest song I've heard all day."
the power of satan is real, elephant mating calls are real, holy shit guys!
Jaxson White
Lads, what pedals are you getting this xmas.
My dad always gets me a new pedal every year, even though im 30.
Tone City Golden Plexi for me this year. I always feel bad asking for an expensive pedal, so a £40 pedal will be a nice addition until the new year when I add something from OBN or Walrus
Benjamin Peterson
>people especially women need high test music No shit thats why music sucks nowadays. Buncha pansy soyboys with offsets and teles.

Post reliable gear.
>Pic related. Got a standard C40 for €50 nearly a decade ago now and it still sounds super decent. I'm actually using it a lot more than my €300 Takamine...
Aaron Perry
Ive left gf at least a million hints I want an Epiphone Explorer (Korina) for Christmas.
Im pretty sure she will get upsold some random piece of shit or ill end up with a BC Rich thats pointy.
Angel Taylor
Would you condemn a guitar to be jazzbox if you put 12-52 chrome strings on and don't intend on playing surfrock? I'm currently sporting 10-52 pure nickel strings but the plain strings are still too sharp for me even eq tweaked.
Noah Rivera
I don't own any physical pedals but so far I've been using Logic and a USB interface with my macbook. I was thinking, if I got one of these and took out the keyboard, I'd have a really compact way to basically get any sound I wanted. It'd just be the tablet Velcro'd to the USB interface. Not as fun as physically stomping the buttons, but I could do cooler stuff with the DAW automation.
Landon Campbell
Dean gets a bad rep but my Dean custom 550Fr plays like butter and feels like a brick. It is a great all around guitar that made me not think so bad about the insectoid koreans workmanship. Emgs sounds good too but takes some skill to make them sound more alive. Plenty of gain too. Only complaint is that the volume knob doesnt work too well with emgs. Its either full gain or 3/5ths gain. They can make great sounds on the clean channel but will not clean up well when on the dirty channel.
