pretty sure Irish is growing

From what I read, not as a real language. 2nd language learners that don't pass it on to their kids don't count.

Don't think it has been used as a real language for quite a fucking long time. My parents are both Irish and they not only don't know a word of it but didn't know a single person that spoke it before they left the country
Could be wrong though, I'm going entirely off anecdotal evidence here

No there's still small pockets in Ireland called the Gaeltacht where people use it as a first language.
