There's a lot of reading, but I haven't found the workload (in terms of actual assignments) to be very burdensome at all. The course itself has been surprisingly balanced (little-to-no 'muh colonialism') If you were to consider it, I'd only do it (like any of the humanities) at a Russell group-tier university.
