Watch Inglorious Basterds

>watch Inglorious Basterds
>This scene
>Genuinely feel sad for the German Nazi
>Respect him at the same time because he died with honor
>Cringe at the stupid baseball Jew popping off and rambling about home-runs
>closed the movie a couple of minutes later.

Explain this. Why is this movie even popular?

goyim are like pigs.

they will eat shit and be happy.

My friends put it on while I was at their house. I felt the same way. This movie made me like Nazis more

I thought it was an ok movie but its really only that popular because quentin tarantino made it

Its not

Sage

Because the majority of people aren't stormfags like you, and they don't think the nazis are honorable. They celebrate the death of an animal that upheld a brutal dictatorship that killed many jewish people.

Kike actor trying to live out power fantasies

The Nazis raped the Jews in the ass big time 6million that's some number.

>flag
Wew lad. You Aussies need a proxy to be taken seriously

Nazis have been portrayed as bad guys for so long, for good reason mind you, that we in western society have become completely desensitized to violence targeting them. There's no discomfort witnessing violence when it's directed towards a group that is perceived to be evil.

It becomes fun

Sven your repressed nationalism shouldn't rear it's head while you enjoy some American cinema. You are such a cuck. I might report you to the local authorities for being such an edgy cunt.. jävla bajskorv

You're supposed to sympathize with him. That's the idea.

I don't think that's true

only newfags care about the flag

yeah that was the point of the movie

This movie isn't popular, you cornball

>killed many jewish people
lad...

6 trillion

6 goyzillion

When I watched the movie I had to pause every 20 minutes or so and watch piles of dead kikes to calm down and ot be able to continue to watch.

By the way Tarantino is a nigger loving jew slave.

Isn't Tarantino famous for shit like this? I've heart that statement from many people and I can vaguely remember watching a video of Tarantino talking about that exact subject. According to him the movies was also meant to show us the human side of the Nazis and provoke these emotions. .

He died with honour for a noble cause while the kike looked like a savage animal. He was even called the Bear-Kike.

Kikes feed degenerates with shit, nothing new.

Is realizing Tarantino's movies are shit (yes even pulp fiction) the true red pill?

6 zimbabwellions

As much as I know this movie is just propaganda against Nazis, I can't help but love what is another classic Tarantino movie. His writing and directing are seriously some of film makings best.

I agree with you

the only movie I really thought was good from him was reservoir dogs

...

He's a cucc

This guy gets it. This movie was about propaganda. All the nazis watching the movie in the theater? The nazis represent the audience. The person watching this movie was watching the "heroes" commit all the horrible acts throughout the movie, in the same way the nazis were watching the horrible acts on the screen.

The whole point of the movie was to reverse expectations and show the power of propaganda.

The movie inside the movie, and the audiences reactions to it, are supposed to reflect us. When Hitler laughs about the dead American troops and cheers, Tarantino is saying we're no better than that when we laugh and cheer the Germans being brutally killed in this movie.

You missed the whole point of the movie senpai.

Honestly, the first minutes of the movie was good. Then it turned it dogshit.

>bradpitt doing an accent

Reservoir dogs was decent, as was From Dusk Till Dawn.

The film makes a whole lot more sense if you see the Basterds as the bad guys
It's still a shit film though

Gotta respect the guy. He goes to death with absolutely no fear. Should've spared his scalp

power fantasy/nazisploitation

P.S. Sammel's character isn't a Nazi you retard, they were a small minority in the Wehrmacht.

Damn

I can't tell if these are some top quality bantz or a shitpost

>From Dusk Till Dawn.
that one was pretty good also

Reservoir dogs might have an edge being one of his first, but I can't stand his try hard dialogue. I haven't seen dusk till dawn though so I'll check it.out.

I agree

The beginning scene with Christoph Waltz was absolutely stellar, but the rest was okay in comparison.

Sorry I'm not that smart.

>Movie literally called Inglorious Basterds
>These bastards do inglorious things
>"Fucking kike propaganda fuck the jews!"

Do you complain that nazis don't win in any Normandy movies too?

yea he tries so hard to be edgy and you can tell

tarantino is just a meme in film. his films are ok but fucking film autists cant stop circle jerking his films.

He didn't direct(it was Robert Rodriguez) it so there's that, but he wrote it and had a larger acting role. Actually his character was pretty good.

The jewhunter stole the show. Not sure if it was intentional or not.

Iktfb ;__;

Eh, you can appreciate the filmmaking and dialogue without agreeing with the subtext of his films. The natural feeling dialogue in pulp fiction is what made it great. Reservoir dogs is a good movie overall too. IMO inglorious bastards is his weakest one

The height of Jewish propaganda. I'm not kidding, the image of an actual Nazi has been skewed so much.

>mfw never had to watch this shit movie

>Robert Rodriguez
I always assumed tarantino made it because of his character in it

It's an anti-nazi movie that makes you like the Nazis in it. Just like Hateful Eight is anti-Confederate but makes you like the Confederates

I know that in movies we are intended to suspend our disbelief, but the idea of tough jews was too much for me to look past.

Tank Pitt movie is good movie.

>doesn't watch the movie till the end
>wonders why the movie is popular
The movie later goes out of the way to show you that you had the right reaction.

He's right though, surprisingly high quality post for an Aussie. It's not like the point of the movie was "look how mean these Nazis are"

Don't even bother. These people are clearly retarded.

I like the movie.. it's just a movie. I mean it doesn't really pretend to be anything other than a silly Jewish power fantasy. I prefer django though.

Pretty much every movie ever made involving Nazis tries to humanize them at some point because all unoriginal directors want to make the "WE'RE NOT SO DIFFERENT YOU AND I" statement.
In saving private ryan there's the surrendering guys on D-Day.
In indiana jones you come face to face with hitler he he just says excuse me.

Protip: don't take shoddy unoriginal directing as some kind of deeper statement.

using this webm because I dont remember what it is

>Watches nazi movie from Hollywood
>expects something other than propaganda
>cringes as the shekels leave his bank account
>gets old
>entire country is brown
>cringes a little more

Never seen it, never will. Propaganda.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sadism

Hans Landa is literally the best character in the movie with the best scenes. Only reason i tolerate that movie, wish Tarantino would uncuck himself already i like most of his stuff.

>tfw "WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED DJANGO, INGLORIOUS BASTARDS, AND THE NEW STAR WARS MOVIE?"

Tarantino has really gone full cuck. Pulp Fiction was good and didn't feel like it had a bunch of messages to shove down your throat.

That's the point of the movie.

Just like the nazis in the movie go to the cinema to see americans get shot by the sniper we go to the cinema to see the nazis get killed. There is literally a scene of nazi's getting gunned down right after *their* war movie gets interrupted. It is recursive.

Will anybody ever love you?

This is literally one of the points of the movie... in the movie the Germans are civilised and the Americans/British are monsters...

Almost every German soldier/officer is portrayed as being polite, articulate, educated, brave, loyal, caring etc. They all bare some of these traits. People like Sergeant Wilhelm and Private Butz are portrayed as being reluctant soldiers, ordinary people thrust into a war they didn't want to be part of, they just wanted to be with their families, but they were brutalised regardless.

By comparison the Basterds are maniacs that brutalise people without regard or remorse. All of them are volunteers who joined the mission for the purpose of massacring German soldiers. Not for their nation or for honour, they just kill, maim and butcher. In the scene where Hitler is shot, two of the Basterds are shown murdering dozens of innocents and defacing the body of Hitler with glee, even at their own peril.

The point of this isn't that the Nazis were the good guys or the bad guys, but to consider what constitutes a "good/bad guy". Its (in part) an examination of the "us vs them" paradox. Most other tv shows and movies are fine with just leaving it at "axis bad, allies good" with no further examination. I applaud the movie for having a go at it.

Remember the coverage of Gaddafi? For months Gaddafi was universally recognised as the "bad guy" until the "good guys" caught him and cut his fucking head off. Its basically Nietzsche's "Beyond Good and Evil".

But those people whom you speak of only saw a side of the story that was presented to them by the team that won the war. If you want to study history you need to hear all opinions and most importantly pay attention to facts and proofs.

That kike is a fucking manlet, like all of them IRL tho, I would kick his ass in a nder 60 seconds lol.

B b b but they killed muh nazi
F f f fucking Jews

It's a critique of how Hollywood dehumanizes history by pretending that German soldiers were all evil Nazi super soldiers and that Americans were all heros

It's meant to make you disgusted at how you can get away with anything if the villans are "Pure evil"

Yeah and that's why we won the war.
Savage AF.

Tarantino directed the road movie portion, Rodriguez directed the monster Movie portion. The Directors Guild did not let them credit more than one director

>tarantino films being the deep

no, it's just jewish power fantasy masturbation

Just Quentin Tarantino fucking with his audience's expectations.

He is a mighty cuck of a director though.

>wow it really makes you think huh

how deep does the rabbit hole go

...

It's pretty clearly and simply laid out desubh

I'm Jewish and I hate this movie. Load of bullshit with unnecessary violence just all of that faggot tarantinos other movies.

Saved.

this is a good movie. tarantino movies have been repetitive for 20 years now but theyre almost always fun to watch and keep you engaged

Years ago I wrote a long-winded post on IMDb o. What this movie is really about, it has a lot more subtext that goes unnoticed for the pleb average Joe movie watcher, and it's completely by design. In fact if everyone got the movie when it first hit theatres then the entire point would be lost.

Take Kansas monologue about the Squirrels and Rats in the first few minutes of the movie, that's your first clue. The surface level interpretation is that he's saying Jews are rats and squirrels are Christians, not so different but you have a repulsive reaction to rats. The director is saying, the Nazis and the allies, they weren't that different, oh yeah you don't believe me? Then the whole movie sets out to prove that point in extreme meta fashion.

The movie humanises the Germans much more than the allies that are portrayed as brutal maniacs. Now most people will just ignore this, which leads up to the penultimate finale in the theatre, you can't get more meta than this. The Nazis in the audience are watching a German war movie and cheering g and laughing at the slaughter of American soldiers.

It mirrors the real world audience perfectly. "See, you idiots are just the same as the Nazis just on the other side of the fence and you happened to win". This film requires that 80% don't get it for it to work.

Because people with your views are autistic fringe morons

liberals like it
most movie going young adults are liberals
Its money.

Fucking phone autocorrect. Sigh...

It was the biggest mind-fuck for a blued pilled viewer.

They're told to worship the jews and they are the " good guys" but are all portrayed as dishonorable human shit-stains.

Where as the Nazis are all honorable gentlemen.

>Muh "Nazis were great"

Shut the fuck up, Nazis were degenerate, violent, atheist, authoritarian socialists with no regard for human life that they deemed unfit -- just like the common SJW today.

I kek'd hard during the scene where they both lit pipes but the ss's pipe was huge compared to the zionist-hoarder's

Because its a good film, the scene in the cellar/bar is Tarantino at his ultra violent best.
Once you realise it's just jewish revenge porn, you just move on and enjoy the movie for what it is.

But it's definitely not just that you nitwit. That's the excuse they came up with since they couldn't rationalise the choices the movie made.

ergh err well... it's revenge porn heh he, well I like it for what it is. Jesus cuck.

I saw this movie before I came to Sup Forums, back when I was in my liberal phase and I still felt bad for the nazis. The main characters seemed more like the bad guys, the movie gave little reason to justify the slayings on screen, especially with that guy getting a swastika carved into his forehead after defecting to the U.S. government.

I read your points and I appreciate/ agree with them. Thanks for making me further love a movie I have always been fond of

Which was... wait for it... one of the themes of the movie.

The point of the movie is that war sucks no matter how you slice it. Anyone who thinks that one army is more humane than the other is an idiot. Now, the countries leading the armies might be better than the other country, but that is also subjective.

Hitler et al laughing in the movie theater at their enemies being slaughtered was a direct and intentional parallel to the audience enjoying the movie nazis being killed.

Most of Tarantino's movies is revenge porn for muh oppressed people.

Inglorious Basterds:
Jew revenge on Nazis

Kill Bill:
Muh strong womyn revenge

Grindhouse (Death Proof):
Muh strong womyn revenge

Django:
Muh noble nigger revenge vs white evil crackas

Is it true that Tarantino is a literal cuckold and developed this fetish from things his mother did?

>watch movie called inglorious basterds
>not expecting main characters to be inglorious basterds

I heard his mom sucked bbc in front of him

I don't know if it is true though

She was getting gangbanged by darkies while he was in the house or somesuch.

Really makes you wonder if he tried to make Rose McGowan cuckold him

>Explain this.
