recently saw the good, the bad, and the wierd from korea, was great

...

Once upon a time in China starring Jet Li. Literally his best movie.

Unsung Heroes if you want Korean thriller cinema.

>Asia
Korean movies are kino
Japanese movies used to be kino but now their anime is pretty goo
Chinese movies are okay
Indian movies are absolute shit

The Eye.

not only thoroughly competently made but actually pretty suspenseful.

The final "shootout" can compete with some of the best action-movies out there.

I like Kshit but this is just a shameless Apocalypto ripoff.

>Indian movies are absolute shit
are you talking about independent films

>Indian movies are absolute shit
They aren't, they're just very... alien to a Western audience. East Asians films can be too but not as much as "lets pause in the middle of the movie to have a related music video" type of thing.

i dont remember any scenes like that in apocalypto

>ywn shove your captialist cock into the weak, qt communist pussy

Why did the Cold War have to end

That's the exact scene where he quickly makes the poison darts with the toad, hides, waits for a few guys to run past and then kills one of them.

I wasn't joking, it really is a shameless ripoff.

I watched "The Wailing" last night, the first half is pretty good

>he can't appreciate Indian cop kino

>now their anime is pretty goo
It really isn't mate, even the best anime movies are pretty mediocre if you compare them to actually good movies. Plus directors like Nakashima, Koreeda and Iwai definitely make better films that anime stuff.

Indian mvoies are horrendous though, but they've got a primitive culture, so you shouldn't expect much. It's like expecting films from Angola to be good.

House of Flying Daggers is one of my favorite movies of all time, it's is beautiful.

Hero is also great and Curse of the Golden Throne is alright

I like your taste, friend.

Putting House of Flying Daggers over Hero though... I dunno about that.

Let the Bullets Fly
Little big soldier
Tai Chi hero + sequel
Hero
House of flying daggers
The Good, the Bad, the Weird (Worst Korea)
My way (Worst Korea)
Order 027 (Best Korea)
Jian guo da ye
Jia Wu Da Hai Zhan
I forgot how it was called, the one about a soldier who struggles to clear the memory of his fallen company.
>b-but where are m-muh japanesu moviesu
Fuck off inbreeding island shits.

There was this movie I watched 5 years ago, don't remember if it was Chinese, Korean or whatever. It was about a wife feeling neglected by her husband and falling in love with her son's friend who was a bit shorter than her. Of ends with them understanding they don't have a future and the mother continues her dead bedroom marriage while the guy moves away for college or something. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

>they've got a primitive culture
>India
Murriburger, everyone.

Those are some real shit movies, user...

Disneyshit is the other way from here.

She was there. She said what turns her on in that movie.

She is pretty perfect.

Some of those are pretty disneyshit tier though.

Red Sorghum
Farewell My Concubine
To Live

C'mon, guys. You disappoint me.

1, Memories of Murder (a must see)
2, A Tale of Two Sisters
3, The Vengeance Trilogy (Oldboy, Mr Vengeance, Lady Vengeance)
4, I Saw the Devil
5, A Bittersweet Life
6, Miracle in Cell No.7
7, New World
8, Thirst
9, Rurouni Kenshin Trilogy
10,

10, Hansel and Gretel

I could do 50 easily.

As much as you're trying to be "me epic subtle troll", I think the first Kenshin movie was pretty decent for what it was.

That one is good.

What? Those are some of my favourite movies you dick.

Memories of Murder is a fucking masterpiece. Ruroini Kenshin is awesome from start to finish.

No troll here bro.

Our Little Sister
The Wailing
Train to Busan

Tai Chi Zero and Hero was nice. Still waiting for Summit for more Angelababy.

Watch "New World". Tell me its not in your top 10 movies.

Ip Man is also epic.

OK there, lil' buddy.

Sure is. You got a problem with my suggestions?

>Ip Man is also epic.
There is like five of them now, I keep seeing them on Netflix, but there is so many I don't know which ones to watch or in what order.

>ctrl+f Departures

Sup Forums is pleb to the max.

If anyone like romances The Road Home is great.

The first one bro

The ones with Donnie Yen. Firs one is legit great, it's what action movies should strive for, a lot of heart, a lot of cool and some very well choreographed fight scenes. Second one is a bit generic but the action is still great and the third one has some very good moments but also a few that really fall flat, action is of course great.

Typical book shit
>Muh no emotions
This is why they will never compare to the West, crab bucket mentality
>Muh Tate is objective
They suck

>Muh Tate is objective
>They suck
5/10
Not bad, fairly subtle.

I enjoyed Beijing Bicycle

Pic related is a pretty sweet action film.

What do you mean 'people' movies?

...

>almost an entire hour of non stop action
When will Hollywood finally learn.
