Shoegaze-ish cover of Hyperdrive by Devin Townsend
Not all my style of music, but great production and mixing. Very competent.
Definitely onto something with your sound. Lost/Lust in particular is great.

Live album coming in just under 2 weeks! Come to our taping at The Piston in Toronto on December 21st at 8:30pm!
Also we might release a demo archive compilation at New Years depending on the live album's reception.
Rec
Really digging the tone selection and the reverb. Vocals are a little quiet though, definitely need to be raised but overall really nice!

no reason to give recs, everyone here knows already if I listened to and liked their music or not
laid-back, but with really strong kicks
I love the production and the mixing, just the right amount of everything, my only complaint is the overuse of that "bitcrush" type distortion that pierces my ears with the high frequencies
Keep doing your beats, lots of these are potential bangers.
better production than the guy I reviewed above, but the reason I won't praise this as much is because one is a bunch of drafts (a demo) waiting for a rapper to do his thing on it, while yours is a finished album that is a bunch of futuristic, utopian instrumentals. Some are better than others, but they don't really catch my attention that much. It's almost like a soundtrack or background music for some movie, rather than an album one would buy in the vinyl store. Maybe add lyrics, multiple vocalists, or even a story to build this whole album on. I like the musical ideas, they just don't come together like they should

Holy shit the first track
>art pop, bedroom folk, emo, post punk
these seem to have been going downhill lately. We should always include in these threads, ideas and others avenue in which we could share our music. Anyone know any good ways of promotion? SubmitHub is really cool in theory but the results are very low. Something like the approval rating is only 12% or so. But still, great in theory

I kinda wish I could've made the whole album sound like the first track without making it all too boring.
Thanks for checking out
no drafts here. full fleshed out instrumental story. They arent meant to be rap song my dude, so that rapper will still be waiting. thats cool, i actually do want to write for video games or animated shorts. Ive already been selling this, so im not that worried. I written a book thatll go along with the album, hence the "theme" songs. It's in editing currently. hoping to get it out before 2018

The "other ways of sharing our music" are basically other platforms. No matter how hard you'll try you are either left to your own devices or have enough money to get somebody to do it for you (or you are behind a label). Shit's dark in that sense.

Professionally engineered, chill as hell, and easy to get lost in.
I'm stuck in someone's VCR but I'm oddly ok with it. Hits the same notes of nostolgia for me that Boards of Canada's stuff does.
This makes me think of the really out there stuff that AnCo does. That, or the soundtrack to some kind of fruity experimental film. You should totally look into recruiting a visual artist to do a project with. Your music makes me want to drop too much acid and watch a mind bending film with this as the soundtrack.
Your tracks go on 1 to 2 minutes too long for my tastes since they seem to each be an exploration of one idea. I know it's drone but that's just my two cents. I love the sound design tho, super sci fi
